“The microwave we bought was just what we were after and the price was very good. However, when I ordered (and one of my main reasons for ordering) the website showed the microwave was "in stock" and delivery would be within 5 to 7 working days. Payment was taken around the third working day so I assumed that my microwave was on its way. When it did not arrive and when I had not received any communication, I rang customer services to be told that they were waiting for stock to come in from the supplier which they were expecting on the 8th working day and they would then send it out to me to arrive on the 10th working day. In fact, it was the 11th working day before the microwave arrived and this was about a week or ten days after payment had been taken from my credit card. I would have rated the transaction "very good" if it had not been for the taking of early payment, the lack of communication and the length of time that the microwave took to arrive.”

“Good price but...payment was taken and then there were 10 working days without any communication at all. They did respond quickly and helpfully to my chaser emails though and delivery happened on the 11th working day.”

“cannot enter a review as yet as the purchase is a christmas present for my wife who is VERY PARTICULAR. stand back and awiat a very descriptive honest review on or after the 25th! delivery was almost 24 hrs later than advertised however therefore i give only an average score at present.”

“After ordering my fire on the 11th of Nov I hadn't had any corespondence with the retailer,I called on Wednesday 7th Dec. To be told they were expecting the fires that day or the next after no email with dispatch details I called again today 13th to be told exactly the same. I do hope I have a dispatch email tomorrow . Mrs Thomson”

“Ordered Dimplex fire, email with confirmation of order stated "delivery lead time" approx 2 weeks. I waited 2 weeks and heard nothing, so phoned - was told it was due in the following week - I phoned again to confirm if item had arrived at depot- had not arrived - could be another week. I decided to cancel my order. When making phone calls, the person on the other end was very pleasant. It would have been helpful if I was kept up to date with emails instead of myself making the calls. Phoned another company on Tuesday late afternoon, very helpful, placed Order for same item and received it today - Thursday late morning - emails and text messages keeping my up to date - arriving on time - less than two days from order - paid £15.00 more, but well worth it. -”

“Product delivered as ordered and in good condition and is now installed and working. Your help telephone number was professional and helpful in tracking the delivery but I did not receive any prior (previous day) warning of the delivery. Fortunately it all worked out but my presence at the flat was literally at the last moment with the driver at the door. An option for your driver to take away the old unit would also have been attractive. It would be very useful to have an on line tracking facility as your competitors. Regards John Macrae”

“The price paid was acceptable and the goods were almost (slight damage) as described. The box the goods were in was knocked about a bit and there was slight damage to the contents. Fortunately the damage was in an area that was not critical so I accepted them. On this occasion delivery time was not an issue but if I wanted quick delivery I would not use you.”

“It took a lot longer than I thought to get my tumble drier delivered. I had to phone Deals4U twice. Then once it came it was only supposed to be delivered to the door. Thankfully the delivery man took pity on me and brought it in but I had to get it out of the box and position it. So beware if you have ordered something really heavy. You will have to install it.”

“Person taking payment misinformed me that someone would call me regarding delivery Nobody phoned me that day!! Ended I had to phone two days later to get info on delivery day/time. The positives was that immediately thereafter deliveryman phoned to give delivery day. He also phoned as promised half hour on delivery day so I didn't have to hang about for delivery.”
