“Having paid in advance for the hire of a van over the Easter holiday (2026), I unfortunately mislaid the bank card which I had used to pay for the transaction, not that this should have mattered as the firm had already received its fee. On arrival to collect the van, the company refused to release the vehicle as they claimed they needed to inspect the bank card, physically, for insurance purposes. In addition, despite my driving license card having also been mislaid and having been previously issued on booking for its information for DLVA checking, they refused to accept my driving license image on my iphone. The company then had the audacity to refuse to refund the £160 they had already pocketed claiming they had done nothing wrong! I am so disappointed with such poor customer service: it has caused me a great deal of personal inconvenience. My recommendation is to please avoid this firm like the plague!”
