“We bought 6 Dimplex Quantum storage heaters, a Dimplex bathroom heater and a Dimplex Quantum water cylinder. When they work, they are great but we have had so many problems with them; at least 6 times in less than a year! Although the customer service staff are usually very polite, we have to go through the same process each time ….. report the fault, give them the GDID, serial number, proof of purchase etc (even though Dimplex have all the details on their system?),then wait several days to be given an appointment, often several weeks later. As well as the time spent on the phone each time, we also keep having to take time off work to wait in for an engineer, as a specific time appointment is not given. Meanwhile, we go (partially) without one or two of the heaters that we paid thousands of pounds for! We keep being told that we are just unlucky, and other people don’t have problems with these heaters. We are now discovering, that we are NOT the only ones! We would definitely not recommend Dimplex Products!!”

Customer after care is awful. Have been told I have up 7 weeks wait for a repair to my Burgate Optimyst fire which is totally non-functioning”
“In October 2018 I had a new bathroom & kitchen fitted, Redring/Dimplex water heaters installed, one for each room.
In August 2019 the one feeding the hot tap in the kitchen started leaking, under the 12 month guarantee it was replaced FOC.
In June 2020 (just now), the replacement heater in the kitchen has started leaking, I have phoned Dimplex, and have been told that the guarantee lasts for 12 months only.
THE LEAKING REPLACEMENT, ONLY 9 MONTHS OLD, IS NOT GUARANTEED AND DIMPLEX DON'T WANT TO KNOW OR CARE THAT IT IS LEAKING.
FOR ALL I KNOW THEY COULD HAVE FITTED A 2ND HAND OR REFURB MODEL JUST TO GET THEM PAST THE 12 MONTH GUARANTEE LIMIT.
SHAME ON YOU REDRING /DIMPLEX, IF THIS IS HOW YOU HAVE TO MAKE A LIVING, BY DIDDLING PENSIONERS, THEN YOU DESERVE TO FAIL!!!!!”

I was disappointed in that the Dimplex fan heater had a fault within 6 months. Dimplex HQ were very understanding, replaced the product and had it fitted within a few weeks. This may have been just a one off faulty product as the new one is working fine. I am pleased with the Company response and the service given to replace the plinth heater. I would still recommend them and the product.”
