“I was so excited when my wife bought me the 1000mm wall cabinet as a special birthday treat.
Unfortunately I needed to contact the company regarding the fit of the glass doors, and despite jumping through numerous hoops I was informed the doors not fitting flushly is quite normal and that the lock at the top will pull/bend the doors into place. None of this was mentioned beforehand and struck me as very poor for what was punted as a high quality wall unit.
The reply I got stated ‘fitting the lock, seals the unit to limit dust getting in,’ which is a joke as there are 8mm gaps at each end anyway, which leaves a small gap in the middle = lots of room for dust to get in.
I never mentioned that the glass shelves are barely long enough, or that the base board only just fits and a wrong move will see it fall out. I’m now making a new baseboard that will fit in place correctly.
I should also mention that there is zero adjustment available on the wall plate fixings. Best get it 100% level or you’ve had it. Even budget friendly kitchen cupboards are adjustable! It also ends up proud at the top and touching at the wall at the bottom edge so you will need to pack it out at the bottom to level it. And no, there is no adjustment available to pull the top in once hung!
I could go on, but what is the point? I should have read all the poor reviews to start with, and there are plenty enough of them. In another room I have Ikea units and they are perfect, but, they didn’t offer a wall cabinet the size I wanted.
To sum up; this unit for a smidge under £400 is a ‘Harrods’ price for a poorly designed flat packed unit. Still, once a fool always a fool I suppose :(”
