“An organisation can always be judged on how it recovers when something goes wrong. For me, it was when the bottle I ordered at the weekend and paid for was found to be out of stock. First thing on Monday I received an email marked urgent, which was very apologetic and offered an alternative. The bottle was a gift to an elderly person who has poor grip and cannot open bottles with a stopper, but with a utensil can open screw thread bottles. Although the alternative was thought to be a screw thread according to the literature, the team at Distillersdirect checked the actual bottle in the warehouse and it was a stopper. I asked about a different bottle and they checked that too and it was screw thread, so I settled on that one. The alternative bottle was in the post almost immediately. All through the process, the member of staff, Katie, was very helpful, efficient and friendly and ensured the delay in posting was only a couple of hours. I consider this excellent service.”

“They had what I needed at a good price when it was not available or very expensive at other retailers. Now I can make a great Last Word cocktail! Also, they spontaneously sorted out a delivery issue when they noticed it and refunded me the difference in cost.”

“Fantastic order and delivery service. I ordered on Saturday and this came (well packaged) on Tuesday - well in time for ‘Margarita Friday’!! My favourite drink is a dirty margarita and this mezcal delivers on all fronts. Price, taste & value. This is my second bottle, so the reordering speaks volumes - it certainly won’t be my last!”
