“Working weird hours makes it hard to meet people the normal way. I checked the site after a late shift and found others who were online at the same time. Ended up chatting with someone who also works nights. Lowkey felt nice not being the only night owl around.”

“I like that Doublelist keeps things simple without too many complicated features. Browsing ads and replying is straightforward. Like any classifieds site you still run into occasional spam, but overall it’s been a decent experience.”

“Doublelist has been a decent alternative for people who miss the older personals sites. Posting an ad is pretty quick and I usually get a few replies within a day or two. I appreciate that the categories are organized and easy to browse depending on what you’re looking for. Some areas have more activity than others though.”

“I started using Doublelist after other classified sites removed their personals sections. The layout is simple and it doesn’t take long to figure out how to browse or post. I’ve had a few decent conversations through it and even met someone locally. Like most platforms, you still have to filter through a few spam posts sometimes, but overall it works for what it’s meant to do.”
