“Met a couple of cool people, but I’ve also been ghosted more times than I can count. Some ads seem misleading, and others don’t respond at all. It’s a mixed bag—good if you’re patient, but frustrating if you want quick results.”

“There are definitely real people here, but the number of fake profiles is frustrating. Got hit with a scam attempt within my first few messages. If you’re careful and take your time, you can find real connections, but it’s a bit of a headache weeding out the nonsense.”

“Doublelist is wild good if you’re open-minded and patient. Ads can be misleading, so don’t take them at face value. A few sketchy profiles, but if you chat a bit first and use some caution, it’s manageable. I’d like better moderation, but overall, I’ve had more good experiences than bad.”

“The only logical reason for suddenly telling me that my profile was removed, is that you discriminate against Transgender people. I did not make any changes to my approved post. You have someone on your team that randomly deletes profiles? For what reason? I didn't make any changes.... You guys suck, I did read the terms, my post was approved, I didn't make any changes, then I receive an email that I was removed. You guys should be careful about discriminating against transgender people, this is very illegal i Canada. I will run this by my lawyer and I will copy and paste this message in a couple of reviews online. You guys will be held accountable for your discrimination!”

“If you don’t mind weeding through fake profiles, ghosters, and people who aren’t clear about what they want, Doublelist can work for you. I’ve had a few good connections, but I’ve also wasted time on conversations that went nowhere. Use with patience and common sense.”

“I’ve used Doublelist for a couple of months now, and while it’s better than some alternatives, it has its flaws. Scammers are definitely an issue, and I’ve had a few miscommunications with people who weren’t clear about their ad intentions. If they improved safety features, it’d be 5 stars.”
