No I’ve been informed I have to apply for a refund and then pay to resend the parcel again I wasn’t given an option for them to collect the parcel and carry out what they were paid to do !! Gold Service it’s an absolute disgrace and totally incompetent.

Although I eventually received a refund, I was not compensated in any way for the time wasted, the mental strain, or the consequences of the delay — which had serious medical implications.

Left a note on the door to put my parcel over my back gate and guess what!! Put me a note through saying they been. My parcel as now gone back to the seller 😡for a refund!! Good on you DPD I’ll never use your service again that’s bad business.

I've lost over £1000 due to DPD incompetent. I am a seller of perishable food items and they have consistently failed to deliver customers items resulting in DPD destroying those items. 80% of the time DPD refuse to refund me as they falsely claim that they do not refuse for service delays. I always refund my customers in full meaning I am losing money each time.

There is no way to resolve such issues directly with a person, and now I am left without my parcel and without my money, as the refund is still pending.

I am still now, 12 days on, waiting for my refund of nearly £200 for this item that the seller will have paid for 3 abortive deliveries, 2 to me and 1 to them.
