“the spade that I ordered was ok but when the box arrived the box that the spade was in was open at one end, I suppose it's ok being a spade but it got me thinking what if I order something more fragile”

Hello We are sorry that you experienced a problem with your items packaging. From the email we received from you advising us of the broken parcel, we were not aware of any damage to the items. If we had known the items were damaged, we would of course replaced these for you. We have passed the comments regarding the packaging onto the relevant persons. Apologies for the inconvenience. “The website is user-friendly and the Order was handled very efficiently. The product had slight scratches on one part but as the delivery cost of returning goods to DPR is at the customer's expense, I decided to accept it. What really let the service down was Royal Mail's delivery. The item was sent using a '24 hour' service, passed to Royal Mail on Tuesday and delivered on Friday. There was no tracking information on Royal Mail's website while in transit and the automated call from Royal Mail on Friday morning said only that the item would be delivered that day, not when.”
