“We just got back from a 3 week trip to Kenya and Tanzania and we loved every minute of it. We worked with Alyza and she planned EVERYTHING. I was nervous about taking the kids (7 and 9) on Safari because there is no way I would have been able to plan a trip like this on my own. It’s impossible to know whether the hotel is any good or whether the water was safe or whether you’re getting ripped off. We actually met a few families during our travelling and swapped stories. As it turns out, we ended up paying way less but getting the much more out of our trip (stay quality, food quality, safari guides, experiences)!
Every transfer, every flight, every stay, every experience and every meal was fantastic. We never felt overloaded, overcrowded or underserved. There were times when border crossings and customs got annoying but we were warned in advance and Alyza always made sure we had a guide or escort with us during the complicated bits. I didn’t even need to think about it once!

I spoke Alym who after an in-depth conversation booked us a package the first time with exactly what we’re looking for. East Africa Wild took care of everything from start to finish. “I visited Kenya in August. The trip was truly exceptional thanks to East Africa Wild. It was my first trip to Africa. I had an idea of what I wanted to do, but East Africa Wild helped me created a tailored trip that exceeded my expectations in every way. That has been our experience as well. The trip was designed in 2 parts as we were 8 people for part one- Nairobi National Park, Baby Elephant orphanage, Giraffe sanctuary and Karen Blixens house and Museum; Plus 2 incredible and perfectly contrasted safaris- Lewa Conservancy and Maasai Mara Entim Private wing.
part 2 included Zanzibar for a few days to chill and then the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to hang out with a family of mountain gorillas.
Wow! We had incredible experiences seeing so many different animals. It will take me a month to reflect and process it all :)
From start to finish, Alym, Alyza and Fridah made the entire experience seamless and had thought of everything- bush flights between locations, excellent and knowledgable guides and camp staff, and if changes needed to occur, we worked through them together.

Yep still travelling alone without any hesitation because EAW ensures that all will be well. Upon arriving to Cape Town. I was met immediately by representatives from Royal African Discoveries. I must state that the staff of Royal African Discoveries were phenomenal.
The Silo Hotel took my breath away. And that was only the beginning!!! Because EAW cares about their travelers experience the prep work in creating your itinerary is very important. My itinerary covered everything I wanted. Nature, wine tastings, cultural experiences, spa visits, food and just pure magic. Fridah Njau my Safari Coordinator based in Kenya was my What’s App buddy!!
