I used this company for my training. I now have my licence. English is not first language for me so I was worried I would not do good. I managed to pass all first time!! Covid got in the way with everything being shut this year up until April. Happy now I am a truck driver.

At the moment I'm a commercial vehicle electrician looking to change career and become a professional driver talking to many HGV drivers the CPC courses are very boring, so I was ready for the onslaught of the 35 hours training. Having now completed my CPC course I personally found the 35 hours to fly by, for me it was interesting and informative solely because it was new to me and can see why experienced drivers find it boring and its like teaching these drivers to suck eggs, I think for experience drivers there should be a modified course to suite there needs, and to keep them updated to the latest information available.

Hassle free and easy training. These guys took care of everything from the get go. They are a very professional outfit and I don’t have 1 bad word to say about any of it! They guided me through everything to my class 2 in no time at all! Couldn’t be happier! 5*s from me!

When the Boss is away, the trainers do play!! Lack of enthusiasm, trainers didn’t care, showed no respect for your time at all. A waste of money. Research before you pay.

Honestly do not fall for thieves Paid 3200 for class 1 Mr Ewan kept on calling like I owed him the money but the agreement was to start the course after payment is complete, he got into a heated argument with me one time over the money like I owed him .cut the story short they sent me to some distant truck company and that was the beginning of the drama .later I found out i have been duped all the way . DVLA charge 11£ to book a theory this people charged me 80£ and after all the payments he told me he can’t secure me employment because I did not book cpc with him . Quite convincing and very assuring when they need your money . Every bit of what you are charged is triple the real charge .beware and just so you know I am in a process of taking them to court . You can scam people and walkway all the time ..

As a company easy as hgv we’re very helpful at first, offering help to pass test’s and advice throughout the process, with a to help you find work once your test was passed. Giving me me an estimated time scale of six to eight weeks to complete my cat 2 license. Once paying £2250 for the full course, it took two weeks to sit my cpc. Once I had finished my 35 hours, it was myself that had to contact them to book my theory test. Unfortunately I failed first time, so I contacted them again, to book a resit, only to be told it would be another three weeks before I could retry. I passed on the resit, so rang them again to book my practical. It would be another four weeks to actually start. I then received an email offering insurance, in case I didn’t pass. This would be a payment of £500, to guarantee an early resit if I failed, which I turned down. Sadly, again I failed first time. Again, I was told my resit would be another three weeks, unless I paid £320 to get it earlier. I paid the money, and got a resit 9 days later. After having an hour or so training, we got to the test centre, to be told that the examiner had phoned in sick, therefore putting it back another week. Fortunately I passed, so contacted them again in the hope of them getting me started in work, of course, they said, we’ll be in touch before the end of the week. After hearing nothing for ten days, I called back for an update. I was told they were on with it, and would get back to me in a couple of days. That was the last contact I had with them. They never got back to me, but I suppose they were happy with the payments I gave them. The only good experience throughout the process, were the guys at Meg training. Especially Mark, he was the only person who got me through my test. So thanks to him.

Before you decide to buy a course from this company, I want to warn you to think twice. They act as middlemen who take your money to sign you up for a real training school, and they also charge extra for their services. In reality, they're more like salespeople, making big promises of well-paying jobs just to get your money. But here's the catch: they can't deliver on those promises because they have no contracts with companies to help you find employment. Instead, they simply pass your contact information to an agency called "The Best Connection," which don’t even have job opportunities for new drivers, leaving you struggling to find work. As a result, it's extremely difficult to secure a job as a new driver with no experience, and this broker doesn't offer payment plans, unlike many training schools that do. So, you may end up with no job and significantly less money in your bank account, all while realizing that the broker didn't do much to actually help you, except for abusing your phone number and making nothing but empty promises to take your money

If you have extra money to waste it you can apply with them, there is no job after all. It’s just a big lie.

I’m very disappointed. Yesterday I called up to ‘enquire’ about an HGV crash course and spoke to a lovely, enthusiastic chap who encouraged me to get everything booked in, including my CPC which came to £3697. First thing this morning I called to unfortunately cancel and have been told that someone will call me within 7 days to discuss making a refund! Surely it doesn’t take up to 7 days to start processing a refund when my money was taken within minutes?

AVOID they are just a broker not a school, just a middle man company. Hard selling pushy and an absolute rip off pay nearly 4k up front then they call saying pay for this and pay for that to protect if you fail. Could have saved over £2000 for a C+E by going directly to a school.

I passed my tests, but not because of the school... This was a bad experience for me,( I can compare it with class 2 tests, that was professional!!!!) On the first day waited 30mins for the instructor in front of the "school", on the second day I had to drive to a completely different area for 1.5 hours one way(Harlow) and I had been told I have 1 hour of practice only... Third day again different place we meet at the test center quick test and bye. On the fourth day, 3 hours of driving and we agreed that we meet 1 hour before the test to practice. I didn't get a call, the instructor showed up at the test center and said wait here have to fill up the tank so no practice...Also, it was a different lorry from what I drove before, with warning lights on. So overall I feel betrayed I paid lots of money and it was far from professional, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. (professional schools have the same rendezvous point always and the students drive to the practice places, showed up on time, the instructor analysis of their driving all the time, etc) I'm sorry for the current and future students, don't sign any blank timesheets during the traffic!!!

I I was waiting for training date around 4 months not knowing when its going to be. I had 3 different instructors in 8 days, trainer was late 3 times at least 15 min each . In the last day I supposed to have a on road test , which did not happened because of driving school and broker does not communicate so well . Do not recommend this company .

These people are not trainers - they are a employment agency. Use a proper school - its cheaper and you will get better service. If you have any problems (dont pass a test on time or any other issue) then you will reget using these people. Use a proper trainer - its cheaper and will be better for you in the long run. I tried this way - and would wholly say to avoid.

WARNING! Please please don’t give this company your hard earned money. They took from me almost £4000 and only gave me back just over £500 as i decided not to carry on with the course due to there lack of communication skills sending me on wrong courses and the problems I had going on in my personal life. You can never speak to any body on the phone you have to either leave a messages or communication is done by email.Yes it was my decision to not carry on with these people but these skills on customer handling is absolutely a joke. You have been warned do NOT invest Unless you want to be robbed like me!

Avoid this company… it’s been nearly one year 11/5/2021 since I paid them for HGV course still no licence… completely ripped off… when I spoke to Sam he says it will be 6-8 weeks after u get your provisional license… joke…. Don’t waste the time with them. They will call you every 10 min to push u to sign and pay after you can’t contact them at all not answering… emails? About a week to get back. Twice more expensive than school as hgv is a broker!!! Stay away from this company.

Signed up in September 2021 and was told that I could have my license in as little as 4-6 weeks if I wanted to by a proper salesman who pesters you until you sign up and then disappears when they’ve got your money (and probably commission). I had to chase to get my theory, hazard perception and CPC dates booked, passed them and have been waiting over 8 weeks to be offered any dates at all for my training and test. Nobody has given me a courtesy call to let me know what’s going on and when you email, you get a cold response stating no dates are available.
