“I have used other EGW products purchased through other suppliers, this purchase is my first dealing directly with EGW. I have been happy with the quality of their 1911 parts. This continues to hold with the EGW optic mount for the EAA Witness - top notch quality. However, I need to return a Vortex optic to them, and have not yet had the experience of their customer services - that unknown is the only reason for the lack of the 5th star.”
“Do not, I repeat do not use the supplied pin. Use the factory roll pin. The pin supplied with the EGW kit is hardened. One whack and you are in a world of hurt.”

“5 stars for the replacement screws.. minus 2 for attention to detail.
1st - the provided screws are far too long to be used in the shotgun they were sent for.
2nd - I tried to order 3x sets of shorter screws with detailed notes in the order, and was sent 3x more sets of the same screws that are too long.”

“I purchased the Guide Rod kit for my 9mm Colt Defender. Product shipped fast and I received it just a few days after I placed the order.
Unfortunately, the front legs of the spring plug were just slightly too wide to fit inside the slide frame. I had to file about 1/8 mm off of each side of the legs in order for it to fit. For the price paid, I should not have to file it down to make it fit the gun.”
