“Ordered from Elastitone for the first time recently. Even though it was the build up to Christmas, the order was despatched very quickly, and arrived well packaged. I have to say the quality f the item is absolutely superb. I havent fully tested it yet, but cant foresee any problems. Excellent service all round.”

“I have used several types of resistance bands over 10 years and Elastitone are by far the best. They are more rugged, much better build quality from the handles and loops to the bands themselves. I had one breakage eventually and the replacement came free of charge immediately with no fuss. Best value for money training aid I have had. Highly recommended.”

“Excellent quality bands! I always measure my bands with a luggage scale, and the actual resistance of the bands is consistently about ten percent higher than the official numbers (when stretched to twice their lengths), a testament to the quality (and honesty) of the manufacturer. The only thing I think could improve is that I would prefer a carabiner to be attached to each band, rather than just having a loop on the bands and the carabiner on the handle. I often want to attach the bands to other things than just the handles (barbells, the wall, etc), or simply make loops of the bands, and carabiners attached to the bands would make this a lot easier.”

Hi, it used to be hooks on the bands but this was changed as it had disadvantages. A) The carabiners are not removable as those types don’t sit right, so if a carabiner failed, the entire band was rendered useless. B) It increased overall weight which pushed up the import cost to us (hundreds of bands with 2 hooks on each increases weight quite a bit) and the shipping cost to the customer, both of which mean a higher price. C) They make each band about 8cm longer which means less tension unless you compensate for this with wider foot spacing’s during some exercises. To attach them to other objects each set comes with 3 removable carabiners, attached to the ankle straps and the door anchor. “Good product. The coloured elastics are tempting, but these ones are covered in a concertina'd black fabric to protect the filaments. The filaments are the highest-quality type. The fitments - i.e. to attach the elastics to your door/power cage etc - are of good quality and quick to use. The range of resistances is impressive and the value is really very good. You will not regret buying this product from Elastitone - and, no, I don't work for them or have any connection with the company whatsoever. Bridlepathpete.”

“I previously used 'normal' rubber resistance bands. However, I found that there could be a significant discrepancy in two bands of supposedly the same strength. Also, over a period of time, the 'normal' ones tended to perish and this resulted in one snapping whilst in use. Luckily, nobody was injured. The Elastitone bands are a joy to use. I have two of each strength and each are the same resistance. This is very important when using them for exercises like squats, bench press, deadlifts etc. It is re-assuring also to know that if they were to snap (highly unlikely), the protective sleeve should negate any potential harm. In addition, the easy clip on/clip off makes it very easy to increase/decrease the resistance. The addition of the handles and ankle/wrist straps further adds to their versatility. Couldn't be more pleased with them.”
