“The ALL steak Pukka pie contained about 10/12 microscopic bits of meat, at least 2 of which were fat rather than meat and just 1!!! larger piece of meat, no bigger than 1 cm.”
“What an absolutely dreadful chicken and vegetable pie. It didn't cook properly in the oven & then when we cut it open there was 1 measly piece of chicken, 2 carrots and hardly any gravy. Have never experienced anything like it. Wouldn't even think about buying them again. Should be ashamed of themselves.”

We had a pukka pie for two from Sainsbury’s and I must say it was the worst pie I have ever had, if you can’t make a decent pie for that price then charge more and make it edible, we will never buy a pukka pie again and it has even made us think twice about shopping in Sainsbury’s. “This was, allegedly, a chicken and mushroom pie. However, its filling consisted almost entirely of a translucent sauce. There was no sign of any mushrooms and the three or four tiny pieces of chicken would have fitted on a teaspoon with room to spare.
This really is a disgraceful effort and I certainly won’t be wasting my money on a Pukka Pie again. There was nothing pukka about it.”
