The pastry was fine but the filling was really poor. Chicken filling was colourless and looked like a glutinous mass. Not worth eating and very disappointing

Had the large steak pie only 3 tiny bits of meat of which 2 were so chewy I gave them to the dog . Even she wasn't keen. Hardly any gravy , just thick pastry

Just finished a 'Pukka Pie'... Anything but!! Where's the filling??? It was almost empty!! I don't know how they bake a pie with no filling and keep the pastry case 'standing'!! Full of just AIR!! Won't buy again!!

Used to be good value and good quality. Something has changed big time. They are neither good value or good quality. They just contains few tiny bits of gristle Have seen far superior meat in dog food.

Bought an 'all steak' pukka pie from Morrison. The packaging says 'tender steak & rich gravy' So dissapointed ! Nice crisp pastry, but the first bite was a mouth full of grizzle, no meat attached and the smaller pieces of meat where far from tender. In there own words, they've been baking since 1963, they should have perfected it by now. Sadly not so !

I used to like these pies. I just cooked one and was looking forward to it. I sliced into the crispy pastry to find....nothing. Some slimy goop and no chicken at all. They must be on a savings spree and decided to not use actual fillings anymore!

Just made pie and mash , treated myself to a "pukka" pie ( which is anything but ) . Not even enough filling to cover the pasty bottom , at best 10% filling . I will be sticking with a far superior supermarkets own next time . There was a time these pies lived up to their name.

Had a steak and kidney pie tonite.Used to love the pies from years ago. What has gone wrong. Pukka rubbish pies is the best description now. Stodgy, tasteless and what happened to the kidney.?Could not find any!. Very disappointed now. Used to be the highlight of a pie and a pint in the local pub and I’m sure I’m not the only one to say that..

Tried the breakfast pie, looked great in picture on the front, but it's rubbish, nothing like the picture. Every ones saying the same thing, don't waste your money, I wouldn't eat another if they gave it to me Only gave it one star because there's not a NO stars option

We bought a vegetarian pie from Tesco. The pie had almost no filling in it. Cheap pies they charge a lot of money for.

Always had them from the chippy, they were the best pies, but not now. The pastry is like card board and the filling is the worst. I have no idea why they changed but I won't be buying again.

I've been eating pukka pies since the 90s. They was the best available and I love them...eat 3-4 a week! Not anymore though. They're pies are a shadow of what they used to be, especially the past few years..what with changing the meat quality, recipe and pastry! ( Pastry used to be especially good) Then you got the whole, empty pie Situation followed by no meat just gravy policy!!?...oh! And now we're being charged £2 a pie? Well that just sums up pukka.
