“I used to enjoy the vegetarian mince beef pies,but not any more. The new plant based pies are awful. The filling doesn't taste as nice as the previous recipe and the pastry is too thick and hard. Please go back to your original recipe, they were so tasty. I used to eat one twice a week. People that I have spoken to when shopping in the supermarket have agreed, the pies are'nt nice any more.”
“Absolutely appalling! Bought a pack of 2 Pukka microwaveable Steak & Kidney pies. Thick hard pastry and very little so called 'steak' inside. No sign of kidney. Tried two bites then straight in the bin along with the other pie in the box. Food this bad should never reach the shelves of a supermarket.”
“chicken and mushroom pie, two tiny pieces of chicken both about 1cm cubed. then some sloppy liquid gloop with zero sign of mushrooms. Nice crusty pastry outer, sadly inside the pie was mostly empty = 70% just air, 28% gloop and 2% chicken. Do not bother. grim.”

I contacted him twice and complaint about the misrepresentation of some of his pies,but he ignores me and clearly is not proud of the products he sells to the consumer.?
Because of his silence and the quantity and quality of his pies I am going to bake some, photo them and send to the food standards agency and Ombudsman because the pictures on the face if the box bares no reality to the contents when cooked . I hope they have some authority to take action,but I,m not hopeful . So if they take no action i,ll reluctantly write to major supermarket and alert them to these poor quality pies which they are selling .
All pukka need to do is put a few pennies of their product and add more quality filling and then they would corner the market and the MD might to proud enough and happy to reply to consumers like my wife and myself .”
