“We are extremely disappointed with our recent experience with EZ Living Furniture.
We very clearly purchased a 6ft (Super King) bed, explaining multiple times to the sales agent that we already had a 5ft bed and, with a child, needed a larger size. Despite this, a 5ft bed was delivered to our home.
When we contacted the Sandyford store in Sandyford, the Manager apologised and acknowledged the mistake, even advising us that we could open and use the mattress as it was not our error. However, the Area Manager has since refused to exchange the bed and has ignored our attempts to resolve the matter.
To support our position, we provided video footage showing us discussing the purchase at the time, clearly referring to the Super King mattress, along with photos demonstrating the size difference (including our son on the mattress). We also sent a kind, registered letter to the company directors outlining the issue in detail. The only response we received was a brief reply stating that “nothing can be done.”
This response has been incredibly disheartening. Our entire home is furnished by EZ Living, and we have always experienced excellent customer service in the past. That makes the refusal to correct what is clearly a mistake even more disappointing.
We are simply asking for the correct bed size that we clearly ordered and discussed. We hope the company reconsiders and resolves this”
