"I called FabHotel reservation line on 28th August 2024 and after discussing briefly for one hour with the representative I booked FabHotel Udhna Inn, a deluxe room for 2 adults with an extra mattress included in the price quoted total of Rs. 22,500 where check-in was 15th October until 24th October. After making the advance payment of Rs. 6,750, my balance amount remaining was Rs. 15,750.\r\n\r\nNow, on October 04th, 2024 I got a WhatsApp message from FabHotel representative, stating my new hotel details like name, address and few images. FabHotel changed my hotel reservation from FabHotel Udhna Inn deluxe room to FabHotel Nidhivan a standard room without my consent or any conversation with me.\r\n\r\nObviously, I wasn\u2019t happy with them changing my hotel reservation without my consent or any conversation to a completely different address in the same city. Hence, I called FabHotel person who messaged me on WhatsApp informing me about the changed hotel, on 07th October 3-4 times, no response and instead he disconnected my call. I messaged him and left several voice notes. He responded stating they are very busy and cannot attend my call and they will resolve my issue. At the same time, I tried reaching directly the person who assisted me for booking the hotel room and even she didn\u2019t pick up my call and hence I messaged her the same. She didn\u2019t reply to my messages at all even after reading them. Her name is Pooja Sinha.\r\n\r\nI didn\u2019t receive any call, message or email from any of the representatives of FabHotel. Hence, I called both the representatives again on 09th October. Still, no one received my calls and hence I messaged them both. One of the representatives messaged me back stating that he will surely resolve my issue that day itself and Pooja replied to me that she will check and let me know.\r\n\r\nAgain, no call, message or email from any of the representatives. I messaged and called again to both of them on 10th October. No one received my call but one of the representatives just stated me in the message that he will be calling me in half an hour. Still, no call or message from him.\r\n\r\nNow, I called the FabHotel main line on 13th October and explained them everything. They first told me that FabHotel Udhna Inn was temporarily closed due to which they transferred me to FabHotel Nidhivan. And, they told me if they want me to check about the cost and extra mattress in FabHotel Nidhivan I need to speak to Pooja Sinha with whom I had done reservation. I explained him that I tried contacting her several times but she is not responding. The representative told me that he will schedule a call back for her to call me but I still didn\u2019t receive any call from anyone.\r\n\r\nI was really frustrated with FabHotel service but didn\u2019t have any option left and had to just stay at the hotel where they changed my reservation to. Now on 15th October, I reached FabHotel Nidhivan in the evening around 6:30pm. The reception person tells me that there is no room available. I explained him that I have already done the advance payment. He tells me that I didn\u2019t do the reservation with him directly. I told him though I didn\u2019t do the reservation from him directly but still I didn\u2019t do the reservation with any third party like Expedia, Booking.com etc, I did the reservation directly with FabHotel chain. Still, he told me the same thing that there was no room availability.\r\n\r\nNow, I called those both representatives again sitting at the reception area and both of them didn\u2019t receive my calls. I called the FabHotel main line. I explained the situation and he kept me on hold for some time. He then just disconnected the call on me. I again called FabHotel main line, someone else picked up and I had to explain the whole situation again and he just kept me on hold. After a long time, he states to me to give the phone to the reception person. The person at the reception first didn\u2019t want to talk to him. After me talking to him, he then was ready to speak to the representative on my phone. After several ongoing conversation, the representative from FabHotel tells me that there is no room available at FabHotel Nidhivan and hence they are transferring me to a new Hotel named FabExpress Silk and they confirmed at this new hotel that there is room availability. \r\n\r\nI spoke to the representative about the deluxe room as well as the cost I agreed upon with the advance payment and he told me everything remains same even at the new Hotel. I still argued with him about the cost and he told they will compensate me with around Rs. 2k to 3k afterwards. Before going from FabHotel Nidhivan, the reception person told me that FabHotel Udhna Inn wasn\u2019t closed. In fact, he confirmed internally that FabHotel Udhna Inn had room availability. Obviously, it was very difficult to speak to FabHotel people and I didn\u2019t have any option at that time but to take my luggage and go to FabExpress Silk what they offered me. I left from FabHotel Nidhivan at 8:30pm.\r\n\r\nNow, here the person at the reception first was unaware about any single thing. He told me he didn\u2019t receive any call nor confirmation from any of the FabHotel representative about me coming there. But, still fortunately there was only one room left at FabExpress Silk which he offered me. Now, I did the remaining payment and checked-in at the hotel.\r\n\r\nWhen I went inside the room, the room was very dirty and it didn\u2019t even look like a proper standard room forget about deluxe. Everything was dusty, in fact the towel rack in the washroom even that was dusty. There were literally spider webs at various places in the room. It looked like no one came in the room for a very long time. I kept my luggage baggage and went to the reception person again, asked him for a cloth and I cleaned all the dust myself at the same night. The room was very small, no closet, the bathroom was very small and dirty and dusty. There were cigarette leftovers in the dresser table. The whole floor was also very dusty. At least to what I paid for a deluxe room definitely this is not something I should be expecting.\r\n\r\nThe next day I called FabHotel main line again and no one received my calls even on the main line. I again called the second day at FabHotel main line and when I described everything what happened in FabExpress Silk the representative tells me that it is the right price for that hotel and also the room is also deluxe which was provided to me. I asked him for compensation and also for the cost difference because of the condition of the hotel where I checked-in compared to what I reserved and had paid for. Forget about all my issues of compensation and fare difference and situations, FabHotel representative didn\u2019t even was ready to provide me the compensation which another representative promised me to give at the time when I was at FabHotel Nidhivan. He just told me I can state my issues for FabExpress Silk on their feedback portal.\r\n\r\nAlso, after 2-3 days, someone from the same hotel FabExpress Silk who was staying for the same length of days as me told that he had booked this hotel for just Rs. 9000.\r\n\r\nFabHotel doesn't even owe a half a star rating. Their service is below degrading level. FabHotel representatives will only respond to you when you want to do booking i.e. 'their sales department'. They will never ever call you back. They will give you false hopes. They lie to you about escalating your issue if you have any to the managers. I believe they don't even know what an escalation is. I would recommend everyone pay a little extra with Expedia or booking.com, they will support you but never book any hotels with FabHotels."
