“What a mess when it was delivered card bored box had fell to bits ,lucky the meat was intacked, but 10 pounds for the chicken was hiway Robert I could have got 1 at the shop after for less”

“New customer having placed a few orders with Farmison & Co I’m very happy with the level of service and quality of produce. So good knowing whether it’s free range or grass fed and they provide lovely clear descriptions of the cuts, about the breeds and where the produce has come from. Very happy with both the fresh and the prepared produce for those work days when you don’t have time to cook. Very clear labelling and instructions on whether they are sending the goods fresh or frozen, so you know exactly what needs to be eaten and what can be frozen for later. It’s about as well informed as I can be about what I’m eating and where my food is coming from - so I am happy to recommend and continue to order from Farmison & Co.”

“I note you are cutting down on the range of cuts offered. I wanted beef silverside last week and it has disappeared from your list. This week I wanted pork belly; that too is no longer on the list. I see you offer a rolled pork belly joint and pork belly slices. but I want meat with the bone in; it cooks better. Why have taken these cuts off your list?”

“The products were out with the courier company for 2 days. They arrived defrosted and one of the freezer pouches had burst, dissolving half the cardboard box with the products hanging out of the holes. Customer services response "We take great care in packing our boxes to ensure they stay cool and fresh during transit for up to 72 hours. While we label our parcels for same-day delivery, unforeseen delays can occasionally occur. As mentioned on our website, we do inform customers that frozen items may defrost during transit" So don't buy from Farmison for your freezer!”

“Been a customer of Farmison for many years and enjoyed many delicious orders from them, sadly after the takeover I feel their prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. The fennel and lemon chicken is almost inedible, fennel has a strong aniseed flavour which just isn’t balanced properly on this dish. Sadly I won’t be ordering any more products from Farmison and they need to raise their game in order to be a success in the saturated online butcher market.”

“Good food at reasonable prices BUT why are delivery charges over Christmas applied? Do couriers increase their costs? Really disappointing, it appears as though cashing in on the festive period when sales probably increase anyway.”

“Very disappointed that having taken my order, Farmison then proceeded to state they could not deliver to my home address on The Isle of Lewis, despite being part of the U.K. I have already requested that they (Farmison) remove me from their database, yet I still receive marketing emails and text messages.”

“First time ordering from Farmison and I’m impressed! The meat arrived the next day, well packaged and most importantly it was DELICIOUS! I recently bought a pellet grill smoker so ordered a Brisket & Boston Pork Butt. Both were great quality cuts to work with and turned out perfectly.”

“Sous vide beef was purchased for todays bank holiday, cooked as per instructions, the meat was tough, could not slice it, this was poor quality meat, absolutely tasteless, most of it was put in the bin. I have been a customer for four years, so disappointed”

“Picanha is the most delicious beef I have ever tasted. The fat is soft, golden and buttery, the beef is superb. I can thoroughly recommend it. Ihave always liked rib eye but this is outstanding”

“Going to give 2 stars as not 100% Farmison's fault but incredibly frustrating to have zero communication where a delivery is. I have had to chase up myself only to find it's no longer being delivered and will be cancelled. Perfect when it's for a birthday party to feed 30 people. Fortunately they are willing to refund me....”

“The meat is grass-fed which is pivotal for my health. The prices are good and the delivery and packaging is phenominal. Easy online ordering platform. One stop shop and I can buy the cuts of meat that I cannot find in the supermarket.”

“Just cooked your sous vide beef roast according to the .instructions Not what I was expecting. My oven is state of the art. I am an experienced cook. Very disappointed and concerned that this is not high welfare meat. Not pleasant. Tough and tasteless.”

“After a BBQ at the weekend with a quality supermarket’s burgers, tonight I had a farmison steak and bone marrow burger - there is NO COMPARISON! This was juicy and so full of flavour. Ok, it’s more expensive but this really is worth the extra speed. Keep it up!”

“Thank you for the whole beef fillet that we had for a dinner party this weekend. It is ideal for cooking when you have guests as you need so little time in the kitchen. I brown the meat on the stove in the afternoon, wrapped it is cling film and then unwrapped it an hour before I wanted it. I followed Chef Jeff’s cooking suggestion and timings. I put the browned fillet into some hot fat in the oven and cooked it for 12 minutes. It was tremendous! The guests were wild about it, it was utterly delicious and cooked to perfection. What a treat and an impressive and easy dish to serve, I cut it into about 1cm slices and presented it on a bed of watercress, it looked delicious and was!”

“We are new to Farmison meat, it is a new experience, a freshness and flavour you have to experience to believe, we will never again use a local butcher or supermarket, even a cold sausage is great. We have not had to ask for refunds or returns, but service is prompt.”

“I have been ordering from Farmison's for over a year now, their meat is exceptional, both in freshness and flavour, quality is their aim and they have provided that on every order. The prices, although higher than the high street, generally reflects in the standard of the products.. there are offers regularly available, take a look and see, you might be as impressed as I have been.”

“I ordered 2 x 2kg Brisket for a planned family BBQ on Saturday. The order was made on Monday for delivery on Friday. I received an email at 5:30pm on Thursday advising that the scheduled delivery could only now be made on Saturday. This was no good, considering that smoking a brisket takes up to 12 hours so I had to cancel the order. Had I been advised of logistical/Supplier issues earlier, I might have been able to source the brisket from elsewhere, but instead, there will be no centerpiece for the family BBQ. The patronising email wishing me a good weekend and birthday was not well received either.”
