“Quality of the produce is great, but since the company was bought in late 2025 the service has gone down hill. Items missing from orders, multiple payments taken for single orders, no response to their WhatsApp support or email channels. Disappointing as it was run so well previously, but now is so inconsistent.”

“Since the takeover things have gone down hill. Products are often out of stock and the range and quality of the meat seems less good. The new website appears to have resulted in me being sent a duplicate of my last order and has lost the Farmison identity. All a real shame. I was a big fan but not now.”

“Three stars for service. Sadly some of the meat left much to be desired. Sous vide cooked turkey dry and tasteless - the birds enjoyed most of it. Beef joint was slow cooked and as tough as old boots. Frankly I've had better joints from Tesco.”

“Very disappointed that the gravy on my Xmas order was dated 23/12/24. I was told there was no more in stock and a credit would be applied to my account. A credit is worthless as I do not intend to use this company again. I certainly would not trust them with another Xmas order.”

“Hit and miss with the company. This year, I bought the fig and chestnut stuffed turkey crown, which had a bizarre gritty texture. It was very off-putting. On the plus side, everything was well-packed, and the delivery was like clockwork.”

“Ordered a goose for Christmas which arrived on time and was good quality. However, I followed their cooking instructions to the letter which suggested the meat would be at about 65 degrees when taken out of the oven. It was actually 96 degrees which meant the bird was dry and overcooked.”

“Disappointing for our first Farmison order. The red wine sauce is sent out in a flimsy envelope which had split and made a mess of other items in the delivery. Likewise the container for the red cabbage was damaged and the cabbage was oozing out. You need better packaging and a new delivery company. Poor effort. I may not order again.”

“Disappointing that I didn’t receive cooking instructions and was referred to the website and I couldn’t find it on there either! You used to send cooking instructions in the box - please go back to that”

“As my delivery was for Christmas l have not tried the meat yet although it did look very good quality. My main concern was that my delivery was left on someone else's front porch in a different road. I was fortunate to manage to find my order and carry it home. I did inform you. You said you would inform DPD but I am still waiting for a response from DPD. Could have been a very expensive non delivery D Bazeley.”

“The quality of the meat at Farmison is great - 5 stars in fact. We really enjoyed our racks of lamb - once we finally got them on the table. That was the problem - the cooking instructions were completely off. Rather than needing 30 min, they needed 1h and that was after cutting them up. The extra cooking time might have been down to the fact that we had bought two racks of lamb but if that's the case, it should have been pointed out. It made for a very stressful dinner party with people waiting for half an hour for their main course so that was disappointing and the reason for only rating this delivery 3 stars overall. However all agreed, that the meat was worth the wait.”

“It's hard to write a reveiw of Farmisson & co . Given that everything I have had has been very good. However a recent order of a beef joint pre-cooked was very disappointing. So rather than judge the entire product range which for up to now has been very good. I would say wouldn't order that beef again.”

“I have been a regular customer of Farmison for awhile now But unfortunate y my last two orders have been disappointing The lamb chops were tough even after cooling slow in the oven The pork chops were also a let down Two chops per package ok if there both the same thickness but when is thick and the other skinny (to make the weight up) its no good The beef short ribs I followed your recipe but after 6 hours still tough I am not happy with my goods”

“I purchased really to get good pork belly, my roast of choice for Mother’s Day. Although tasty it turned to mush without the crispy crackling expected. The chops not tasted yet as still in the freezer. I am still looking.”

“Arrived pretty much defrosted so had to use earlier than planned therefore not economically. I have said before that DPD is an unreliable deliverer of time limited goods.”

“Sirloin Steaks were very good. Dauphonise potatoes were average taste, presentation wasn’t good looked like supermarket microwave meal, no clear cooking instructions and just directions to the website which wasn’t great. The final cooking page when found for the potatoes shows a meat cooking guide - don’t think you can have med-rare potatoes.”
