I’d give zero stars if I could went on the website to spend a voucher given as a gift automatically Christmas and nothing is available apart from a wooden spatula

I’m sorry to say this as I have always had the highest regard for Farmison and its products. However, no sausage, no bacon, minimal beef products have been available each time I look on the site. I received no acknowledgment of my order and when it eventually arrived the package was open. Not good is it?

Given this as a gift. I wouldn’t normally go to an online butcher instead shop locally. Ordering - The website only had beef products, everything else was out of stock. No problem, I fancied trying some different cuts of steak. Delivery - You have to be in to receive it as it’s chilled. Given a 4 hour window. Not ideal. Products - only received half the order. The rest missing. Result - not eaten anything yet but already having to go shopping for something else for dinner. Recommendation - Find a decent local butcher instead. Better prices, ranges and service.

Ordered twice now since takeover. First time in early December the delivery didn't arrive until the day after it should have. The second time there were items missing. This isn't an issue in itself - stock shortages happen to every company. The reason for the 1 star is that I found this out when opening the box up. I would expect Farmison to have let me know that all items weren't available (especially as the delivery note says a quantity of 0 was delivered??). However it was incumbent upon me to phone for a refund. I have been left with the impression that they would happily take my money despite not providing the goods paid for. I have really enjoyed using them in the past, but customer service has deteriorated drastically since the takeover. I sadly won't be using again.

This order was placed with a view to the joint being the centre point of a family lunch. I was confident that it would be delivered on the requested day as all previous orders had. After the time slot FedEx had given had passed I received an email to say they were sorry to have missed me, they had been nowhere near my house (security cameras record all arrivals and departures) and my order would be delivered 72 hours later. I told them not to bother but they did anyway and I was left a parcel of rancid meat. Contact with Farminsons gave rise to an email saying they would be in touch. This happened 72 hours later. I got my money back but was very dissatisfied with the slowness of response and having to go out to find replacements at the very last minute

Made 2 orders recently, one turned up frozen despite being g meant to be fresh. The second arrived with 2/3’s of the order missing. Very slow response from customer services. Shame, they are a shadow of once they once were and I’ll not be using them again, just not reliable.

Meat excellent. Delivery service useless. Three days late. Zero communication from FedEx even when the meat had been delivered. Found it in our woodshed by chance. No recompense for poor service. Even on this review you don’t allow for communication from Farmison’s - 1-5 days!!

We have been a customer of Farmison for years and have always been impressed with the quality of produce, delivery and customer service. We placed our order for Christmas 2025 in the October and selected a delivery date for which my husband took a days holiday from work. Once it had got to late afternoon we phoned Farmison customer services who told us our delivery was not coming until the following day. They also advised that we wouldn't be receiving all of our products. I asked for a refund of the missing (Christmas meal item!) and also for the delivery charge, which I have just received this week, mid- January. If I had been advised prior to me calling Farmison that my delivery would not be arriving on the day we had booked, and that I would not be receiving all of my order I wouldn't of exactly been filled with Christmas spirit, but it would have been a far more professional way to deal with the situation. I can't trust Farmison now and so they've lost a customer.

A real shame to have to be writing this review as we have used Farmison & Co now for the last 4 years for our Christmas order and have always been pleased with their service. However, it seems that customer care and honestly, quality of options, have taken a huge nose dive. Items we ordered in October for Christmas we were told no longer were available, no offer of a replacement, we had to phone up and request on (good luck getting through). Then as Christmas delivery turned up, items were missing. Tried to call, lines were deliberately off - no options to talk to anyone. This company is no longer what it used to be. We will not be using them again after 4 years of loyal customer service. Read the latest Trustpilot reviews and you will witness the literal collapse of what was once a good customer focused, affordable and quality business.

Sadly this is not a good review. We have given the company ample time to respond and this is not a knee jerk reaction to that failure to communicate with us. Part of our Christmas order, which was placed in October, was left out and despite me explaining the whole issue, with details of the missing item, we received an email asking what was missing. Our order was delivered on the 23rd Dec and despite my expedient email we have since had no resolution. We had guests and were unable to source the rest of our meat menu in time for Christmas Day.

Really annoying that you have to use a QR code for the cooking instructions just to drive traffic to the website. The QR code didn’t work. So came on the website and the FAQ links won’t open- frustrating.

Ordered 2 chicken Kiev to try…. Got to be the worst I’ve ever eaten. Not a drizzle of butter in the Kiev. Thick breadcrumbed coating. As dry as a bone without any butter at all when we cut into them. Really disappointing. I’ve got to Say the worst Kiev I’ve ever had!

I ordered a leg of lamb for Easter Sunday.. I paid a premium postage fee for delivery day .. the lamb never arrived !!… thanks for ruining my family’s Easter , I txt emailed and called , just got automated reply…the cost was extortionate too !!!!be wary of this site.

Spent £70 on the Wagyu Beef Wellington. A special anniversary treat. No specific cooking instructions on the product or online. The meat was poor, the "filling" hardly existed. Do not trust this product. An absolute robbery.

I only received half my order, I ordered two fillet steaks and only one came, when the other steak eventually turned up it was from a different breed of cow so looked and tasted different which wasn't ideal. Ordered twice from here and had two problems. Never offered any kind of discount or money back either time, won't order from here again.

Previous orders have been very high quality so decided to order the beef Wellington for Valentine’s Day. The smell was enough to put me off- like cheap pate. The meat was spongy and tasteless. A total waste of money- so disappointing!
