No stars would be given but you have to give 1 star which is not applicable - couldnt fulfil order placed for delivery 3rd May agreed to have products on 4th May - this was unfilled - but I had to chase to explore where the delivery was - had been advised I would get full refund - only today I have recieved only a partial refund (£7.50 short) - sent anohter email asking why it is not a full refund - no goods you sill have my money = pretty appualling service

After shopping with Farmison for some time, dating back to before the insolvency, it was disappointing to find that upon substituting a frozen item for the fresh one I had ordered, it took three emails for them to agree to refund the difference in price. The sum was nominal, but the principle should be basic. Very disappointing.

I order meat for Easter holiday the parcel was left outside by DpD and was stolen and left me with no meat for the holiday for me and my kids, when I email the company of they say sorry and the issues and damages was done I ask if they could give some meat as compensation as they are a meat provider and reseller and as customer any other company will have say ok due to your experience we will give something! They say they will not give me anything! Shocking customer service I will not recommend to buy anything from I switch to a different meat provide also organic and with a great customer service that care for they client and want to keep them, I buy a lot of meat their lost no mine.

I clicked on the read full directions, there were more directions on the preview page than on the more directions page and more ads, it seems the site is more interested in pleasing the advertisers than their customers. I have moved on to another site.

I have a gift from my Son. Can it be accepted .no it cannot. I go through all the order but is there anywhere I can put my order in, it is unacceptable. I am seriously annoyed. I phoned. Sorry closed go on line. Just tell us where to put the gift code. Do it clearly. Make it work. This is £100. sort it. Not happy Hazel Dilley

I am sorry to say that my experience with your products has been one of complete disappointment. The meat is tough and flavourless and isn't worth the money. I have tried several cuts and they have all been disappointing. Your delivery service is excellent but your products leave a great deal to be desired. I shan't be patronising your company again

All the meat I ordered except the chicken was not what I ordered the beef was tough and the lamb was not like the picture on your web site and at £26 it was well over priced

Although I am a great Farmison meat fan, I was very disappointed by the latest batch of bavette steaks, which turned out very stringy, tough and without great taste.

Very poor service. Even though I had placed an order days in advance I was notified the evening before delivery that the majority of my wasn’t in stock. I tried to cancel the entire order as the only reason I bought other items was to get to the minimum order threshold but then told that these items had already been dispatched.

I bought a traditional Wiltshire cure half ham for Christmas from Farmison. I am pleased that I tried it before Christmas, as I would have been highly embarrassed to serve it to guests. I expect a ham from a heritage breed pig to have a good covering of fat; I do not expect the fat covering to comprise the largest part of the joint. The first few slices of the ham were gristly and not particularly flavourful. I was bitterly disappointed with my purchase, especially when compared to previous purchases. All beef filets in plastic bags had lots of blood around them. The expensive Chateaubriand usually a nice piece of fillet, was smaller, had lots of liquid and during cooking became a small thin piece. Would not buy it again.

Ordered beef wellington for Christmas to feed 5 absolutely ruined our dinner the beef was gamely and tasted awful only fit for the bin . This was surposed to be a big treat for Christmas would not normally spend £120.00 on meat . Would expect a full refund from a best on line butcher. Normally gamey beef is an indicator of the animal being stressed when slaughtered or very bad diet . Would appreciate your help and explanation in this matter . Regards Mrs J Kent

Christmas delivery failed to arrive. Order was placed 8 weeks in advance and was scheduled to arrive on the 23rd. I was left without Christmas dinner and had to rush out on Christmas Eve to buy something to serve to the family.

First order was great! Good quality, well packaged and on time. I thought we had found a great balance of quality and convenience. I did not mind paying a little more for this. Sadly, our second order arrived poorly packaged, leaking blood and the chickens were frozen. The packaging was so poor that one of the chicken bags was split and the sausages had been crushed by the frozen chickens rattling about. Poor quality, poorly packaged and expensive. I could have got better from the supermarket at a much cheaper price.

I received two Christmas orders which you claimed meant I had not correctly looked at delivery dates. I did nor want a double order and have had to freeze the second delivery. I am also disappointed with the quality of the meat compared with previous orders. All in all I am unlikely to use farm is on again for customers service and quality reasons . Both packages were left on the doorstep, no one rang the bell.

Extremely disappointing customer service. I missed the banner for selecting delivery date at the start of my shop and inadvertently placed my order for delivery within the next couple of days when I wanted the meat for Christmas. I immediately emailed to cancel the order and received an automatic reply to confirm receipt but the order was processed and despite me calling to discuss before despatch Farmison was unable prevent despatch. I received the order on 12 December and had to throw away food to make space in the freezer. Cannot recommend as a company to do business with. Massively disappointing customer service, but the produce was good.
