“I've been ordering for years and have always been happy with the products and service. I'm diappointed with the frozen range. The baby back ribs were a it tough even after slow cooking for 5 hours. The varied beef wasn't the same one that used to order. It was not as tasty and the texture was different. I hope this frozen range will get better. I'm also hoping that my Christmas order will be in the same standard as every year.”

“This review is for the chicken sausages and whilst I have no complaints about the delivery time or packaging, I am not satisfied with the product. They did not cook as shown in your online picture, but burnt even on medium heat. The skins didn't feel nice in the mouth, there was very little chickeny taste but there was an overriding taste, which lingered, of pepper. I envisaged serving them with mash and a lentil/tomato/shallot stew, and whilst the accomplishments were good, the sausages let the meal down. An expensive mistake I won't be repeating.”

“Have ordered several times always happy with product received This time I was disappointed with the product Arrived swimming in a bath of bloody stained liquid and both products looked nothing like image portrayed as you will agree we first eat with our eyes to say I was disappointed is an understatement I will be shopping with you but in anticipation”

“Generally the meat is very good and delivery great. However, we recently received steaks where the package was split & the steaks smelt awful and were very clearly off. I have messaged multiple times about this over the last few weeks and had nothing but automated responses. I appreciate mistakes happen but have been left very disappointed by this customer service level.”

“Was a little disappointed with the quality of the meat considering the effort made to highlight this. Burgers had grissle and tasted bit cheap. Pork belly was good and sausages, chicken all ok but considering the price and the claims made about the quality, i have to say i was a bit disappointed. On the plus side, delivery was very quick.”

“Followed instructions exactly but pastry bottom was very soggy, cooked to 48c using probe and rested perfect rare in middle but was a bit shocked unexpectedly fillet was very chewy in places with some sinew sorry but not the best”

“Unfortunately this time the piece of sirloin I ordered was from the fore rib end so once I had discarded the chain and gristle that runs on top of the meat and surprisingly there was a lot of fat that needed to be trimmed off , probably that was the reason this weight of sirloin was being discounted and in the end I have only managed to get 6 x 5oz to 6oz steaks .. but they are normally very tasty so I look forward to them but will make my next potential purchase worrying what I will receive.”

“Ordered the beef Wellington Meal for Valentines night dinner and was so disappointed. The beef was tough and the potato dauphinois dry and not at all creamy. The best thing about the meal was the jus. Not what I expected from Farmison as my previous purchases have been very good.”

“The mangaliza pork is so good I ordered the pork belly last time. There was no flesh to speak of, just one big slab of lard. I would like to know what to do with it Farmison's please? I cut it into 4 chunks and it is in the freezer waiting for inspiration. I will order pork again, especially mangaliza, but I wouldn't order the belly joint as I think whoever sent it out must have realised it would be inedible. Sorry!”

“Very disappointed with the cut of the ham. What was displayed online is not what arrived and it required me to purchase another ham elsewhere. On the positive side the quality of the other items I purchased were very good and on that basis I would consider purchasing again from Farmison. I am still very grieved that I have not had a response from Farmison although told they would get back to me and they haven't.”

“Our Christmas meat order fell way below expectations in quality so that I felt it necessary to write with my feedback to Customer Service. I did not feel that my concerns were then dealt with satisfactorily. I will not be ordering again.”

“Thanks to dpd, the delivery option chosen by Farmison, our turkey never arrived. Farmison were apologetic and on 2 occasions when I rang, said they would phone the delivery company who would get in touch with a delivery date and time. Nothing happened and I have no idea where my turkey ended up! After Christmas, Farmison offered me a refund and a £15 voucher. Little compensation for the stress caused by Christmas without a turkey!”

“The meat was absolutely delicious. I know a rib of beef is a fatty cut but I felt there was a lot more fat than I was expecting, a few fist sized balls of fat within the roasting joint just seemed too much.”
