“I ordered beef short ribs. The photograph showed the meat as single portions which was what I wanted. I ordered the recommended amount for 4 people. However when it arrived, there were just two massive slabs of meat. I called and asked why this was and what I was supposed to do. I was told to use a butchers knife and cut them up. I haven’t got a butchers knife so tried with my carving knife to cut through the bones. It resulted in a mess and ruined my knife and the meat, spoiling the dinner party. Why show the meat cut into single portions and then deliver it requiring further butchery??? Very disappointing and won’t be repeating.”

“Bought a rib of beef, and duck for Christmas and the quality was exquisite. It arrived in very good packaging so I could leave in the outhouse until needed. Everyone mentioned the quality and taste was superior. I love that it’s British small holdings, would highly recommend”

“We are new customers and happily ABSOLUTELY SATISFIED with the products and also the service. We have been a little disappointed that 'post Christmas' we are unable to get the mutton joints we would like, but no doubt they will return eventually. The pork rack we have had was superb. So fingers crossed for the future. Graham Rates”

“Disappointed,especially with the Beef Wellington didnt cook very well as came squashed/damaged as was already half defrosted so all the pastry had gone mushy and broken looked a mess when unpackaged and the Muscovado/Orange Ham was very light on the flavour if any at all and looked far different from the image they sold it on,very pale and insipid looking not very appealing,the bacon used on the pigs in blankets and devils on horseback was very strong in off flavour of pork like when it's very piggy noticed by most of my guests on Christmas day that had them that and the ham didn't go down well at all,merguez sausages were very good and the belly burnt ends but other than that disappointing and wouldn't order again as I have had far better unfortunately from a company in Scotland for not much difference in price i shall be going there in future,also no cooking instructions on them unless download them which is a faff could quite easily have them on the labels that they come packaged in”

“Dear Farmison, you exceeded all my expectations. My lamb sausages were so beautiful, fresh and tasty, you can taste the difference. It was delivered on time, well before Christmas. “Christmas order never arrived due to problems with DPD delivery.....eventually had a refund which was handled very well by Farmison. Delivery went from Farmison to Hinckley ( passing our property) sat there for 2 days waiting to go to Morley ( passing our property ) Refund requested and promptly actioned. Caused problems with Christmas food. I would probably not risk using Farmison again when purchase is foe special occasions. I do appreciate that once with Dpd it beyond Farmisons control.
