“I have been a regular customer of Farmison for awhile now But unfortunate y my last two orders have been disappointing The lamb chops were tough even after cooling slow in the oven The pork chops were also a let down Two chops per package ok if there both the same thickness but when is thick and the other skinny (to make the weight up) its no good The beef short ribs I followed your recipe but after 6 hours still tough I am not happy with my goods”

“I clicked on the read full directions, there were more directions on the preview page than on the more directions page and more ads, it seems the site is more interested in pleasing the advertisers than their customers. I have moved on to another site.”

“I’ve been using Farmison fairly regularly since just before Christmas 2023 and have been more than satisfied with everything from the ease of ordering and delivery thorough to tge quality of all the products I’ve received, from the sirloin roasting joint at Christmas through to the rolled hogget joint slow roasted for Easter and the Toulouse sausages I made into the cassoulet with roasted red peppers tonight have all been delicious and great quality. I’d not hesitate to recommend Farmison to anyone.”

“We used Farmisons for the first time this Easter and the whole experience was first class. The ordering and delivery went without a hitch and the whole leg of lamb was delightful. Very tender and tasty. The whole family were very impressed”

“I have a gift from my Son. Can it be accepted .no it cannot. I go through all the order but is there anywhere I can put my order in, it is unacceptable. I am seriously annoyed. I phoned. Sorry closed go on line. Just tell us where to put the gift code. Do it clearly. Make it work. This is £100. sort it. Not happy Hazel Dilley”

“I am sorry to say that my experience with your products has been one of complete disappointment. The meat is tough and flavourless and isn't worth the money. I have tried several cuts and they have all been disappointing. Your delivery service is excellent but your products leave a great deal to be desired. I shan't be patronising your company again”

“I ordered a selection of different meats and so far we have had the pork chops, pancetta and osso bucco. It has all been delicious and definitely worth every penny. I can’t wait to try the lamb shoulder which looks amazing.”

“I regularly order a picanha (rump cap) from another online butcher. As they were out of stock I found farmison via google. Upon delivery the cut was really disappointing. While I expect a good fat cover on this cut, this item is excessive, much less than half the cut appears to be muscle. The item is natural and variable, I understand this, but when ordering blind online I would expect some quality control and judgement to be used especially when ordering from an online butcher who cites words phrases like "eat better meat" and "We are butchers by trade, and artisans at our craft." I am quite surprised that the joint was cut to within 0.07g of the minimum weight where other online butchers use a more generous approach to the online ordering specifications. Having contacted customer service I was told that my disappointment is regretful but that the product they have supplied me meets the letter of the specification, which it does. It does not, in my opinion meet the hype, language, or pictures conveyed by the website and I am surprised they would stand by it. I wont be using Farmison again.”

“I have shopped around now for about a year for organic grass fed meat after having health complications. I have recently tried Farmisons and I'm so very happy that I have found a really good local butchers. Everything we purchased was fantastic and really very tasty. My only bug bare is that some of the sausages aren't as clean as I would have liked. Using sulphite, preservities and maltodextrin so unfortunately I will have to leave those off the list. Other then this the food has been outstanding. Thank you”

“We had made a committment to eat better quality meat where the animals are free range and the farming is ethical and sustainable. I was worried this would cost a foturne, however I ordered the family box from Farmison which was very reasonable. Ordering and receiving the delivery from Farmison was really easy. When it arrived, I froze most of the meat. We have been taking it out of the freezer and using it about twice per week, and the taste is just exceptional. For the roasting joints, there are instructions on the website of how to cook the joint which is very handy. Everyone in the family has noticed the difference. We are eating meat less often, but what we do eat is quality meat with incredible flavour. I will not go back to supermarket meat again.”

“The best mutton I have ever tasted. It was delicious. The chicken breasts were generous and the taste superb. Best black pudding also very meaty and with a great texture. Finally found a wonderful online butcher would definitely recommend”
