“I only received half my order, I ordered two fillet steaks and only one came, when the other steak eventually turned up it was from a different breed of cow so looked and tasted different which wasn't ideal. Ordered twice from here and had two problems. Never offered any kind of discount or money back either time, won't order from here again.”

“Previous orders have been very high quality so decided to order the beef Wellington for Valentine’s Day. The smell was enough to put me off- like cheap pate. The meat was spongy and tasteless. A total waste of money- so disappointing!”

“Burns Night I bought two Haggis for our Burns Celebration night with family I can honestly say that’s the best Haggis we have ever had My husband travels up to Scotland , and at times will bring one back …. But not a patch on what we ate last night”

“No idea what went wrong. Normally Farmison is top notch. But that frozen whole chicken was horrible. Arrived still frozen. Slowly defrosted in the fridge, cooked to my usual recipe from Simon Hopkins "Roast chicken and other stories". Not overcooked, actually, due to the size, still a bit red at the bones. Horrible, horrible chalky. Could barely eat it and try now to rescue it in a Thai curry. Have another one in the freezer and feel not very confident to roast it Freezer burn on your side? Defrosted and defrosted? That is not your usual standard.”

“Three stars for service. Sadly some of the meat left much to be desired. Sous vide cooked turkey dry and tasteless - the birds enjoyed most of it. Beef joint was slow cooked and as tough as old boots. Frankly I've had better joints from Tesco.”

“I had such a good experience with Farmisons after a mistake made over my Christmas orders - once I got hold of them they were so good and very quick to refund me and apologise - their meat is delicious so will definitely go back to using them ..”

“Great quality meat, we ordered a lovely bundle for Christmas 2024. There was a bit of a blip with communication as staff went on holiday but we managed to resolve it and they worked to make another order of the Turkey cushion we had originally wanted to add by exception. All in a great experience and the style of turkey was perfect for the small oven we had to contend with!!”

“Disappointed. Pastry was difficult to cook through in the time given to give achieve the recommended internal temperature. Eventually used the top element in the oven to try to finish it off. Taste was nothing special either. I’ve made it better from scratch myself - just ran out of time this year. Really really disappointed- although credit where due delivery was as promised”

“another christmas feast with meat from farmisons beef turky and ham the best on the maket ,So good my adult family ask for vouchers at christmas . Ihave tryed other suppliers but been disapointed not up to the standard i have come to expect from Farmisons Happy New Year”

“I have been getting my meat from Farmison for quite a few years now and mostly they are fine. They are human and yes can make mistakes but they are rectified when told and so I would always recommend Farmison for their meat orders . Always arrive on the day specified and always fresh and not mauled over as in the soupermarket trays.”
