“I have used Farmison since around lockdown and I am continually pleased with both the products and the service!! Great meat, packed well and postage is always prompt and on time! Where there has been any issues, they have been quickly and pleasantly resolved!! A good company to deal with for peace of kind and dinner times!!”

“We ordered all our christmas meats from Famisons. We decided to get a large chicken over turkey this year. The chicken roasted beautifully and was moist and held its flavour with minimal moisture loss through water etc (as is the way with supermarket bought free range chicken) for a very reasonable price. The ham was THE most delicious ham we have had in years. Though precooked and prepared we gently warmed it through, to serve alongside the other meats and trims. Made lovely sanwiches and snack after too. The delivery was on time, packaged well and stayed cool and fresh. I have been looking into ordering our bi-weekly meat shops from Famisons instead of supermarket or even local buthcher. Highly recommend!”

“I ordered the Ripon Cathedral half horseshoe gammon again for Christmas 2023. Lovely ham. Also ordered traditional pigs in blankets for the first time. Goods were delivered on time and well packed. Both will be ordered for Christmas 2024.”

“It was fabulous as ever ~ planned as a special NYE meal for two; when our Christmas Day hostess went down with Covid and all guests went into 'splendid isolation', for days, our gorgeous Hanger Steak became Christmas Dinner! So good it might become a habit.... Thanks.”

“Chicken and pork were superb I ordered rashers and sausages too and I would order them all again. Beef dripping potatoes and dauphinois both tasty. Only the packing of dauphinois got squashed so damaged on delivery and there was some spillage. I didn’t use them straight away and by the time I did they were not on the website so no cooking instructions. I thought they would be 30 minutes cooking but had to finish them in the microwave. That would upset me if it was an expensive cut of meat. I would not hesitate to order again but screenshot the cooking instructions”

“I bought a traditional Wiltshire cure half ham for Christmas from Farmison. I am pleased that I tried it before Christmas, as I would have been highly embarrassed to serve it to guests. I expect a ham from a heritage breed pig to have a good covering of fat; I do not expect the fat covering to comprise the largest part of the joint. The first few slices of the ham were gristly and not particularly flavourful. I was bitterly disappointed with my purchase, especially when compared to previous purchases. “Excellent meat.....but "Pity about the packaging". The ready-prepared potatoes had burst out of their very poor packaging and had leaked over all the meat parcels making a messy clean up job. Disappointing.”

“Fantastic meat, fantastic service! I ordered Christmas pork and beef - for the first time - from Farmison. I couldn't have been happier with the taste, quality and price. The packaging was excellent, so I was confident the meat would be in excellent condition - and it was. I will definitely shop with Farmison again!”
