“I have used their inks for a number of years and have always found both their service and the inks excellent.
The other day I loaded into my HP printer aBlack cartridge which was the final cartridge of a 4 pack I purchased more than 18 months ago. On loading it I got an error report from the printer saying that there was a problem with the cartridge.
I sent a message to the company and within a few hou they suggested trying to reload it etc. This did not work so they immediately said they were sending out a new cartridge replacement cartridge. I call that 5 star service

“I'm surprised at the poor reviews as, although only a domestic user, I have always found First Call Inks very efficient and good value. Not an anonymous and faceless concern as I always order my inks by 'phone.”
“BEWARE. A very aggressive returns policy and no replies to emails.
Used for a number of years not any more. Recently had a dud cartridge which FCI would not acknowledge. They claim software decays over time. First time I've heard that one.
Note that of the reviews over the last year 3 have only been 1 or 3 star.”

Opened a new cartridge by removing it from its plastic wrap only to see the bottom film was already pierced. Other cartridges showing empty when they are not, and two new cartridges not registering.
Will now have to find another supplier”

Not helpful with refunds.
It's not clear exactly as to why they are unable to get their own Inks or go how long this will be the case for but I will not use them again”
“I've been using First Call for years now and have never had any problems with the products. They just seem to do what is required of them at a very good price. Don't think which would have continually said they were "Best Buy" if the were bad. I use a Brother printer and get good useage out them.”
“First Call Inks' cartridges used to be a good quality and very good value replacents for overpriced Canon originals. Not now. Often rejected by the printer, if accepted they last only a very short time. Not worth bothering with unfortunately.”
“XL black cartridge ran out after barely any use. The company did not want to do anything about it. Happy to take your money, but not keen to offer good service when a product is potentially faulty.
I won't be using them again and advise anyone thinking of doing so to be aware you may not get the service you hoped for.”
“I can't remember how i first discovered this company but I'm so glad i did.
They have a first class website, easy to navigate and clear directions to virtually all inks for every well known inkjet printer.
Their ink cartridges are all chipped identically to the O.E.M cartridges giving excellent colour reproduction and printer will read cartridge levels.
First Call also have a phone line and a physical presence.
They were also very helpful when i needed to replace a print head which died of old age !!”
