“I have ordered 3 skins over the last 5 years. I love the way 1 looked so I ordered a different one a few a years later. The second one did not look like the image online… the color was washed out so I ended up not putting it on. The third one took more than a month to ship and two emails to get it to finally ship. I don’t know if they were running behind or if they forgot. I had paid for expedited shipping because it was for a gift. No mention of the extra shipping charges when they finally responded and apologized for the delay. So bottom line - some of the skins are awesome. Some look mediocre at best. Shipping is slow and their responding to email inquiries is subpar customer service. The first skin I installed is still on my laptop 5.5 years later and looks great and has done an excellent job of protecting my MacBook and still looks great too. Installation is easy and the video they post (and provide link to with the skin) shows you exactly how to install it.
So bottom line is that they don’t ship quickly, but it is a good product that does what it claims to do. If you’re in a hurry, this isn’t the company to do business with. If you have time and don’t mind having to work a bit to resolve any glitches then you should be happy with the skin when it arrives.”
“Good in concept, but does NOT fit computer. None of the peices seem to be cut perfectly and there is an issue with each side - too long, too short, etc. The covers do not align with the corners or edges of the Macbook. If you don't mind one side being different than the other in terms of coverage then it's fine, but if you're a perfectionist this will definitely bother you. Also the application is insanely difficult and frustrating. There are no instructions or tools sent along with the skins to help with application. Mine ripped twice while applying because I had to apply and reapply so many times because it is impossible to align.”
