LA PIRE EXPÉRIENCE DE MA VIE… ATTENTION!!!! ATTENTION!!! ATTENTION…

SCAMMERS!!! SCAMMERS!!! SCAMMERS!!! Too bad there is no 0 star rating; that's what they deserve. I was using Jetcost and was redirected to their site. They want you to pay extra for the return ticket, claiming you are on standby and knowing that you'll have no choice other than accept. Never do business with them; it's a shame to steal money from honest people. This company should be shut down.

Arnaque!

BEWARE, THIS IS A BIG SCAM. Do not do business with this company and under no circumstances don't trust its representatives. The good reviews are fake. Don't fall into their trap. That's how these crooks deceive customers. You browse the internet to find the right deal for a plane ticket and you come across the offer of Flight Trotters which is about $50 below the market. You fill out the form and you go to the checkout, at this stage you are given the choice to pay with the debit card free of charge or with the credit card with fees. As you want to save money, you opt for the "Debit" payment, and then my friend, you're made like a rat. A few minutes later, you receive an email asking you to contact one of their agents. You call, and then you are informed that your ticket puts you on a waiting list that you must show up on the day of departure at the airport and the airline can deny you access on board if there is no place. You refuse of course but until then you do not feel the scam yet. The agent offers to review your application and comes back to tell you that to get a ticket in good standing, you would have to add about $300. You refuse and ask to be refunded but the Agent warns you that if you cancel the ticket, you must pay a fee of $150. Now you realize you're done. The company gives you the choice between buying a ticket that is $300 above the market price or paying a $150 penalty. No matter how much you argue, nothing helps. The agent knows that you have no choice since you paid with the debit card and the Bank can do nothing and you have no recourse. Then you voluntarily agree that the company is legally stealing from you. That's my experience, I'm sharing it so these scammers don't rob honest people anymore. So, if you ever browse the internet and come across Flight Trotters, dig as far as you can.

“First they will dangle a carrot of unbelievable low cost fares that once you submit payment, your money is virtually all but lost. With exorbitant and unrealistic fees also levied for their services on your credit card. Sound familiar? They follow that up with a phone call to you stating that one of the flights in your itinerary is over booked, therefore to secure the connection flight the consumer must absorb additional questionable costs and the original amount is non refundable. Buyer BEWARE. Legitimate carriers who want your business will always try to make things right by offering to provide a voucher or credit. This was not the case with theses small brained crude con artists. Luckily, when the person on the phone call I got to potentially siphon a $190.00 more from me, I refused. I demanded that he escalate to management. He explained that they wear busy and could not do so then or call me back for that matter. This is where they begun to falter. Do not BUY into their these pressure/stall tactics over the phone either basically holding your trip plans\money in the aggregate and in limbo. They finally mentioned they could take the money themselves off my credit card and sent an email to confirm that I agreed to pay the additional cost. Which is also false. Please know that the email they send is just click bait. IGNORE all correspondence. However I would recommend keeping the messages as they serve as evidence in your favour to prove your case and are best left untampered with. My best advice is to cancel your credit used to perform the transaction. Failing that also report this thinly veiled systemic fraud to the authorities. Trust me when I say that these idiots and I am being polite are on their radar too. I now am working with my credit card company and letter champ to dispute the charges.

Do not ever, EVER, deal with this company. If lucky, you’ll simply get scammed. If not, you’ll get robbed: losing thousands of dollars and your nerves. Read below for details. If you are lucky enough, here is what happens: You see a listing for very competitive air fares that they offer. Excited about the deal: you book it. You think your trip is now all set and wait for the tickets… But they never come. Instead, one of their agents calls you saying that the seats are “not guaranteed” at this price, that you have to pay extra if you want to have them « guaranteed ». You decide to go on and pay the extra charge to avoid the hassle of searching and rebooking elsewhere. Then... still no tickets. They will eventually call you again saying the price has changed because the airline company raised their rates. You ask for a refund, but the process to get that refund is so overwhelming that you eventually end up paying the extra charge once again. You finally get your tickets… At an even higher price tag than if you had purchased them directly from the airline company in the first place. Since you’ve been nervous and stressed out for 3 days due to unpleasant back and forth with the agent, you are now relieved to have your tickets. This is when they start arrassing you to get a good review. Tired and drained due to all the shenanigans, you end up doing it. Hence the few positive reviews they get. Kind of like Stockholm syndrome if you will. A very well oiled scheme anyway. I started mentionning that all of this was “if you were lucky” which was the case for a friend of mine. I unfortunately heard about his experience after having my own experience with them. My experience was much simpler: I paid, never got the tickets, refused to pay the extra money they asked for, they did not refund me… Not a scam, just pure highway robbery.

Flighttrotters is absolutely an online fraudulent group that scams money from innocent people based on the following facts: 1 This company pretends to be an international company with three offices and three websites, i.e., flighttrotters.co.uk (UK), flighttrotters.ca (Canada), and flighttrotters.com (US). However, these three websites use a single IP address, which is 88.208.221.151. This means that their three websites are operated by a single server. To find the IP address from a website, simply type in the website address in this website: https://hostingchecker.com/ 2 They are using a fake address for three of their websites, which is a UK address “Profile West 950 Great West Road Brentford, Middlesex, TW8 9ES”. If you search for this physical address, it is an address of a totally irrelevant company. See the website of that company https://www.safetykleen.eu/uk/contact-us . Flighttrotters hides their real address to avoid lawsuit but they are stupid enough to know it’s so easy to find out their real address. For instance, the domain name flighttrotters.ca is registered with the North American based web provider GoDaddy, where shows their address is in Ontario of Canada. 3 The way they scam their customers is that first they post very attractive flights online, such as NON-STOP, much cheaper, nice time, etc. to have people to book with them. However, as soon as you book it and pay for it, your nightmare starts. Immediately you will receive a call from this scammer telling you that there is a glitch on your booking, such as another customer booked your flight a few minutes before you so they have to change your booking. Then, with a new booking, they will increase the price more than other agencies. If you say, no, I don’t want it, please return my money. They will say, no, you cannot because your booking is Non-Refundable! AND, you will never get back your money until you start some legal action to force it back. In my case, I accepted their “new” booking and paid the extra. Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 we cancelled our cruise trip and consequently we had to cancel the flight. Then the flighttrotters refused to cancel it for us. We had to contact the airline customer service directly. The airline understood the situation and refunded our full payment back to flighttrotters. However, this scammer will never have the money back to us. They simply don’t response our emails and calls. After three weeks fighting with them, our phone number was blacklisted by them! 4 Now, we have started our legal actions to charge back our money. In addition, we also did the following: a. Tell our story in all major company reviewing websites like this one. b. Post this fraudulent company in Facebook, YouTube and Twitters. c. Report their scams to their website host, for instance, GoDaddy in North America. d. Alert the security department in all airlines about their fraudulences and put this scammer in blacklist. e. Start a lawsuit to this company.

This company along with sister company Flighttrotters.ca is a scam. They lure you to book a flight with them by posting very low fares on line, once you book they call you requesting additional fees for some reason or another. If you refuse, they will not reimburse you the original amount paid. You are obliged to go through your credit card company to recover your money.
