“The recipient did not discover the flowers until Sunday lunchtime. The delivery day was Saturday. They had been left outside the door of the appartment where she lives in the landing area between 4 flats. As it was very cold on the landing the flowers were fortunately still in good condition and she admired the pretty colours. I was told that, despie being deaf, she would have heard if the bell had been rung. She was at home so assumes that the bell was not rung. She is very pleased with the flowers and I can only suggest that it would be sensible to leave a card through the door in these circumsatances. She would then have seen the card and looked outside.”

I took off one star because my parents' Christmas delivery of flowers didn't arrive due to a technical glitch at their end. Luckily I realised they had not arrived, so I sent an email to FBP and got a call back the next day; their flowers arrived within a couple of days.
