I have been putting money for my 5 grandchildren into Foresters Friendly for the past 13 or so years and have never had any receipt or statement, apparently after querying this I get no look in at all they just take my money but do not update me on anything. Would never recommend

As part of the terms and conditions when applying for the plan, we advise that all annual statements are sent to the parent or guardian of the child, or the person who has parental responsibility. I do not have any means to check my investments, that is why I stopped investing.

Hi Alexandru, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that you’ve stopped investing with us and appreciate your honesty about the reasons for this. We launched the member portal in July of this year, initially, it was only available to members who have taken out a plan after the launch date, so that we could evaluate real world performance of the portal and seek member feedback, making adjustments where needed. We are now beginning to onboard members who took out plans prior to July of this year, and will do so in a phased manner, starting with the most recent plans, and working our way back so as to be able to manage the volume of invitations and subsequent sign-ups. I haven't been overly impressed so far, I am not able to view my policy anywhere and they declined cash back that I was due even after meeting their terms.

I was impressed initially by the easy application process and getting this set up however I have emailed twice now about the gift card that was promoted when I signed up. I have made four monthly payments now and still haven't received the gift card or replies to my emails.

I took out a policy over 2 weeks ago and haven’t received my documentation 2 e mails chasing still no answer .. not impressed so far!

the overall experience is great and quite easy to open the account but the website is not user-friendly. Could you provide a login to user to review their ISA? the website is not user-friendly, i can't find the login page to review my profile. it seems not secure. Hopefully can add this function in the page.

To reassure you, our digital capabilities are currently in the process of being expanded and a member portal will be available soon which will allow you to view your plan details securely online. We will notify you once access is available. In the meantime, we can provide plan values over the phone on 0800 988 2418, and we also send out annual statements detailing the value of your plan. Stuggle to leave any more than 2 stars, as feel a bit blind with my money. From account setup, to paying my money, no confirmation, eventually letter arrives in the post, and there is no - online view. Blind, really Blind, if the savings account was to reduce for example then are we expected to wait until its too late ? Strange. Like going back in time.

There is no online portal so no way of knowing the value of my ISA from one month to the next (they told me they are “working on an online system”. The only way to check my balance is to make a phone call and wait on hold or leave a message for a call back. Apparently a statement is sent out once a year. It’s clearly not kept up with the times. This was sold as a stocks and shares ISA but in reality it is just a fund with an end of year bonus tied to it. Not at all what I would expect of a S&S ISA.

In the meantime, we are able to provide plan values over the phone and we send out annual statements regarding the plan’s value, plus half-yearly statements to ensure you are aware of how much of your annual ISA allowance you have used. For any details regarding your plan, please call our Member Services team on 0800 988 2418. If the lines are busy, as at times we experience high call volumes, we offer a call back facility in an attempt to support our members by ensuring you are not on hold for long periods of time which we know can cause frustration. Our ISA is classed as a stocks & shares ISA as the fund in which your money is invested invests in a mix of assets including property, equities, cash and UK government bonds, to help minimise risk and increase the potential for returns. Our in-house expert investment team, alongside our external investment managers, manage the fund on your behalf – and make all the investment choices for members. As the 7th largest UK mutual in terms of funds managed, we take a responsible approach to our investments, ensuring we act in a socially conscious way. They sent me lots of emails offering marks and spencer vouchers for taking out a bond but then said I wasn’t eligible. To make matters worse they said at the same time they rejected my claim that they put their customers first

I recently wanted to add into my L-ISA before the end of the tax year, but could not contact you over the phone. I left answer machine messages and had no call back. This is frustrating when you have nearly £20k of my money. It doesn't fill me with confidence... Still no response and I did (reluctantly) put an extra £4k into my pot.

feel unclear online application system as we had no idea this was an investment isa rather than a cash isa that we wanted, so i have cancelled.

Joined april last year and had no contact from local agent /secretary till around dec got a mag, and all holidays were full, I rang him and he said they came out in august you should have rang then, I said i never got any mag about them are they allways given out to regulars, he got quite nassty and first said he could not find me, then he said you would have had a mag, must be your postman I said there is nothing wrong with my postman he knows me well, I am a J.P. and i do not have any problems with my post. I did phone someone at your head office but got no joy E A WoolleyJ.P.
