Absolute litany of errors, delays, failures to fulfil orders and generally poor service. A total disgrace.”
“It is one of the worst run business I have ever came across. The manager and other staff are useless. It is not acceptable for an order to take 8 weeks. I have placed an a order on the 19 September. However I am still waiting for it to be delivered. When you ring them to find out, they are making excuses one after another. They know that, you don’t have any other options.”
“Absolutely appalling company. Should under no circumstances have a monopoly and should be put out of business. Ordered uniform in August, it is now nearly 10 weeks since order was placed and nothing has arrived. Tried to call many times, when finally got through after hours, someone painfully slowly repeated my order my order back to me (I know what I ordered, FGS, I want to know when it's arriving!), was then put on hold for 10 minutes and subsequently hung up on. Having read numerous other reviews, this appears to be the norm, which is utterly unacceptable. I will be requesting a refund and am contemplating starting a school uniform business. It would be virtually impossible to be any worse than this shower! Avoid if you can”
“I am very disappointed with this company. Ordered uniform for my daughter 16 of August and today is 25 of September. Saying me in one week will be send. I was calling so many times and hang up my call. Today I asked for refund.”
“Absolutely shambolic we went in July to get a blazer; we were told that they were getting stock in August and that we would get an email. No email. We went in August and were told that we had to buy and pay for a blazer and that they would get it into stock before the start of term, and that they would email us when it came in. No email. We called Fosters and they told us in the blazer had arrived and that it would take a week for them to embroider and that they would email and call us. No email, no phone call. So, we called them today and, guess what? No blazer.”
“I placed an order on 25th June. Today is 14th September and still waiting. They haven't answered to any of my mails. Trying to phone but waiting times are unbelievable. I had to buy other school shirts for my daughter without the school logo.”
“Avoid shop like the plague. I first visited the shop on 22nd July, my son starts year 7 in September, I took the school uniform list, and purchased what I could. The trousers and jumper were not in the sizes I needed, so ok I ordered and paid for these to be collected from the shop, and expected someone would contact me about collection. The staff were unhelpful and incompetent, they got my name and email address wrong when I clearly wrote them out for them. Today is the 8th September and I’M STILL WAITING.
I called them up everyday from the 29th August but it appears phone engaged the whole week, and sent several emails but these have been religiously ignored. Then one day was in the 'queue' I was so hopeful as this is a step up from hearing an engaged tone. I was no 27, and waited 2 hrs 50 minutes, I got to number 3, and was cut off the b*****. Furthermore, the stuff I purchased they got wrong. I thought I had paid for a pack of short sleeve shirts, but when I got home it turned out to be long sleeves, that’s my own fault should have checked whilst in the shop. I don’t live near the shop and don’t drive, my husband has this Saturday off, we will asking for a refund. Only problem is the school jumper, they are the only shop that sells the school jumper.
I ended up spending double the money as I had to buy the trousers and shirts from Asda last Saturday, he was starting school on Wed 6th. Thanks Asda !

“My first and last time using Foster's. I ordered my son's uniform in early July at a school induction day. I have been chasing several times for my order, and have received part of it but without the inititals on that I had requested. The outstanding blazer i have been waiting for i chased this morning on the phone with a wait time of 1.5hrs. I was then told it was ready but upon collection i had to wait another 40 mins to be given a Blazer that was at least 4 sizes to big, not the size i ordered! The size on the tag was in fact crossed out with a black marker and a new size written next to it, which happened to be the size i ordered! I then waited another 40 mins to try to exchange it in the shop but was told "the tailor messed up" and they are going to amend the size to 4 sizes smaller which i know from experience working in fashion that it is not possible to amend a large blazer to a small blazer, it will be a completely different pattern!!!! I have received no communication from Foster's throughout the entirety of this order. The management needs to address this issue immediately! I will never use them again, and will not recommend to anybody! There were a lot of other disgruntled customers there trying to collect their orders amongst the chaos! No stars given but only gives me the option to leave 1 star!”
“I bought a sweatshirt for my daughter on 30/09/2021. I paid to have it delivered by mail and so far I haven't received it. They gave me no response or explanation for the order not received. Unfortunately it's the only place in town. Terrible attendance.”
