"I purchased a 2 seater leather recliner on 02.09.25 and it was delivered very quickly, on 06.09.25.\r\nThe delivery drivers assembled the sofa and left.\r\nWithin minutes of them leaving i noticed a hole in the leather so i found the phone number and contacted Furniture instore and told them about the hole in the sofa and asked if the drivers could come back and take the sofa back. The person said the driver would be too far away to return and some one would contact me on Monday 08.09.25. \r\nNo one did. It had only been 10 minutes so he could not have been more than a few miles away, if that.\r\nSince then i have sent photos of the hole in the sofa by whatsapp and email without Furniture instore getting back to me.\r\nIn total i have phoned Furniture instore 4 times and whatsapped them 3 times and just get told they will contact me, but never do. I have had no contact from them other than an email asking me to leave a review.\r\nI sent an email through their website asking for the sofa to be collected and issue me with a full refund.\r\nI am not very hopeful of that happening so my next course of action will be Trading standards, the credit card company, and then the Small Claims Court.\r\nI have CCTV footage of the drivers leaving with a time stamp and screenshot of the time i phoned Furniture instore as proof of the timeline."
