Refund - Difficult

I’m awaiting a refund from 25/9. Despite numerous phones calls, over 10 emails, then finally speaking to a human I was promised a refund as 5 amounts were taken from my account. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH COMPANY, NEVER FOLLOW THROUGH ON THEIR PROMISES, NEVER CALL BACK OR REPLY TO CUSTOMERS. TAKE PEOPLES MONEY THATS ALL YOU DO!!! Wonder what what happen if I owed five payments to you. Absolute joke

I have asked for a refund but as predicted that email is being ignored too.

They say they give a refund, but then it didnt arrive, and when I asked they say it takes a MONTH to refund your money. When I said this is unreasonable and they should get poor reviews, they sent a legal letter to intimidate. I don't think its good to do business with people that act like that

The second incident is a non-refund of a premium taken despite a cancellation email being sent to them within hours of the contract, no confirmation of cancellation has been sent either by mail or email.

After speaking to them, they said the refund takes 21 days - absolute joke.

What an awful service, L&G duplicated my policy so I was paying double for it each month and after spending 40 mins waiting for my call to be answered which was costing me money they authorised a refund which has still not come a month later and I have just spent another 20 mins waiting for my call to be answered whilst being charged and have given up I will never use them again..wish I could have scored 0.

Cancelled home insurance within 14 day period. Still haven't got my money back 2 mths later. They don't reply to emails and take forever to answer phone calls. Please don't touch them - dreadful. On the 2 times I have managed to speak with someone they have promised refund is on way yet it never comes. Try to complain but can't get through to complaints department either! Joke.

I took out home insurance with them and could not get them to send me the policy documents either by post or email despite sending them several emails and ringing several times and waiting for at least 20 minutes to speak to someone. Luckily I could cancel my policy so hopefully I will get a refund- if that happens!

In total it took 13 attempts via lengthy telephone calls and countless e mails to get my refund.
