anyone know who I can contact to cancel my car insurance - none of the numbers work and no one can help me!

I had just put a claim in for my TV that got damage accidentally. Now L&G asked to to bring pictures and demonstrate how the screen got inked. they went to my facebook to check my profiles and stood on the fone answering 101 questions. After all that been furious with them, they gave me the option to cancel the claim or provide the pictures or go ahead with the claim and if it doesnt go through it will go against me. I was shocked with all these but I suspected they were trying to put off so i dont claim. But I will go through and claim. Is this the normal procedure?

Why does it take so long for anybody to answer the telephones in your place? I have been trying for 2 days now, all I hear is "Somebody is on the way to take you call" - where are they on the way from? Mars????? Terrible!!!! Fed up of listening to the horrible music and that awful mans voice informing me someone is on the way!! I will be sending you a bill for the waiting time as soon as my next telephone bill arrives!!!! 7 attempts today alone!!!

we had cavity wall installation put into our premisies having trouble now with plaster coming of walls we have had it sucked out of premisies but the problem is getting worse

Why can't you answer your 'phone? I have been holding on for 40 minutes today 28 November 2017 and you keep saying "Thanks for holding on, we are on our way to help". When exactly will that be - next year, the year after, perhaps the year after that. People who want to make a claim are distressed enough about their problems without having to deal with an insurance company like this. Get some more staff and some more claims lines. By the way you said you would email me last week. No email of course so don't fob me off with "I'll contact you by email" because you know you won't.

Why do you treat your customers so badly, you just do not care, we feel like we are homeless in our own home after a flash flood 16 X weeks ago, and you have done absolutely nothing to help us with the building works within our home, so baby let down by L&G

Basically I am still waiting for my refund from a cancelled policy , after 3 phone calls and being put on hold a few times was promise I would have it by today, NOT HAPPENED, will be ringing financial ombudsman tomorrow as this has gone on far to long,

Why has noone responded to my email and why can I not get through to anyone on your phone lines. My claim was authorised and I was told that the money would be in my account in one week. It has not been three-four weeks and NOTHING! This is the worst service from any business I have encountered ih my life. Shocking! SHocking! Shocking. I am a public speaker and if I do not hear from anyone today I will inform the BBC on the Rip Off Britain programme as well as the morning calls on all of BBC radio output. My number is 07808768916 If I do not receive a call by midday today I will expose this company as the worst in Britain!

Well I think it must be because they have issues with their call centre(s). I'm currently on 'hold' - been trying to get through for about an hour on various advertised phone nos. Up til now, we have had very good service, use both life insurance (no claims yet!!) and a burglary claim in 2014 dealt with efficiently. It's a big company, with competitive quotes for home insurance. I think they must have some major 'issues' currently; hope they will be sorted soon. I suspect they're trying to shift customer communications 'online' - but I'm struggling with my personal login too. Hope this helps
