Shame you dong get a mere cat though but excess cover is better than a teddy to put on ebay so suppose it's a win win. “GoCompare search engine is quite good but most insurers start with an apparently low quote but when even a few "hidden optional extras" are added the premiums soon become inflated to way beyond the headline quote. One has to spend ages sifting through all the offerings to try and compare apples with apples. Would be much more helpful if all insurers followed the same format when detailing the extent of the cover being offered. This is not Rocket Science. .”

“1. I bought a new Mercedes A180 car and your system did not recognise the car and reg RX20UMH 2. Eventually you came up with quotes and I selected Saga. I failed to get to them from your display and I phoned them separately They could not find the quote given and I therefore went elsehere. 3. very disappointlng and time wasting since I’ve had good experience in the past.with ‘go compare’.”
