The company that you quoted as the cheapest put the price up by £100 I completed the application on line and at the end of it they would take apre approved payment and would call me , which they have not I have rang them twice. only after waiting on hold for a long time I eventually speak to them and they say that the price has gone up . Disgusting!!!!!

Price quoted on your website was not same as Lloyds quoted when applied to settle payment.They said they could not stand by you quotation which was £100 extra

You kept sending me reminders for my pet insurance so I renewed it. Its not up for renewal until October. Made me look a bit of an idiot. Thank god for the insurers who kindly cancelled the new application. No need to badger people so early.

Prices quoted did not match the insurers web site when I went to buy. Privilege was £10 more and when I tried to quote again the premium increased every time. I couldn't get the £145 (tpft) originally quoted and within a few minutes this increased to almost £200 on Privileges site. I got the best price by going to Churchill directly (£160 fully comp with free recovery).

the insurance company that i selected said online to call them, so did so was then passed between a few departments then after 30 minutes on phone was told that their was a problem with their prices and they would ring me back no one called ! insurance due day now passed

When filling in information on Go Compare to get car insurance, there is no option to explain in detail the issues surrounding a minor incident. E.g. 2 cars reversing in a car park. This happened with my wife last year but the incident caused no damage, no one was injured and no one made any claims. However, my wife reported the incident last year and was duly informed she must declare it. She declared it on the Go Compare website and we were offered lots of reasonable car insurance quotes. However, after being directed to the insurers website, there wasn't an option to explain what happened and the insurers added an extra £100 or so on top of the original quote. This happened on 2 or 3 occasions with different insurers. It took around 4 and a half hours trying to obtain a quote. In the end, the online form for One Direct allowed us to complete the form in detail, however, the form with them didn't allow customers to explain their modification was merely a roof rack, this meant us phoning the company to buy the insurance instead of doing it online. Today has been a stressful experience and Go Compare doesn't look good because their site doesn't allow us to explain the detail of the motor incident, i.e. 'reversing in a car park at 1 mile per hour, no injuries, no claims made'. Go Compare also forwarded us to insurers web pages which also, by and large, didn't allow a proper explanation to be given.

45 mins on the phone talking to 3 or 4 different people, repeating the same thing over and over again. It became tedious. I am an existing customer and wasn't expecting it to be so long winded

i`ve made my quote for my insurance car , i`ve fill every detail what they ask me on site, and after i`ve arrived to purchase the quote and to pay it, i`ve read on desktop i need to call them . i`ve call them , and I waited an hour on the phone after they send me 5 time from one operator to another one and finally to tell me the server is down. i`ve told them every single details about me and my car 5 times .... they tell me will ring me on saturday .... but anyway i don`t know why i need to stay on phone hours if on site i`ve already put every details to take the quote for insurance and pay ... I'm still disappointed about this thing (i`ve spoke with my friends and for them was so easy to take the quote and pay for it .. ) (I am the most unfortunate ? ? ? ... ) Best Regards ! ! !

I chose a suitable car insurance quote for £305 and clicked on the proceed button to make the purchase. The next screen appeared from the insurance company giving the quote at £635. I tried again and got £358. I gave up at this point. T

I feel that you show one price you ring up about that price and then you are quoted a different price I think that's only fair because you build peoples hopes up thinking that they are getting a very good price for car insurance
