“A wasted evening inputting specified items (bicycles) in to the GoCompare quote engine & received >20 quotes which all excludes the bikes from the cover. So a warning to read the draft policies before ‘buying’! Ended up buying direct from Pedalcover.”

“I put in all my info.inc.20+ years of no claims. The lowest offer of fully comp was over 60% higher than my last year premium. Most of the companies were TWICE the last year premium and were hardly household names .in fact the best (sic) three offers were from building societies ,,,how does that work ? I looked through all the other co.s , not one of the FIVE majors is on your site , so going direct seems to be the answer , it might be a good idea , but it doesn't work so I'll once again be going direct . “The quote initially increased by over £250 when Adrian Flux became involved - the information given was exactly the same. After much complaining this was reduced to nearer the Go Compare rate (but still not as good) It took nearly 90 minutes on the phone to get the insurance from AF despite no information changing.”

“Website doesn't actually recognise my car. Keeps saying it's year 2008 and if I try putting it in manually it doesn't make any difference.”

“I filled the form but ,when I wanted to choose an insurer a message came up in the insurer website said that I can not proceed and I was asked to fill the information again. ultimately I gave up and went to another comparison website and insured my car with them.”

“Got it cheaper my self, all gocompare is. Is a profit machine. More expensive on line, did it old fashioned way job done. Some thing you generation don,t do in public communicate and mix, talking is very important and technology has dumbed you down”

“Details not carried over to prospective insurers accurately. For example, as the policyholder, I stated that my wife is the main the driver, and not myself. Returning to Gocompare to check the details, the quote rose upon my return to the prospective insurers!”

“Not just go compare but every comparison site gave me a list of prices that are OK but then these magically increased when I clicked on them, frustrating, price stated on original list should be price charged when you click on them”
