“They do compare a lot of websites and give prices for different companies but the price they offer is never the price you pay once you go to the site making the offer and they charge £68 for the referral”

“i was very pleased when i had been given a quote from the rac for my car insurance so i decided to change on the quote i was given i went through the full process but when i got to the end i was told it was not acceptable - which meant i had cancelled my other policy on the understanding i had been give a really good quote = i have never had any issues and have been driving for over 40 years so i feel the rac treated me very badly and would not provide any information as to why this had been unorthorised = the only explanation given was it was down to the site which should not have let me get to the payment stage- i will say i was very dissapointed and has caused extreme upset i have no complaints about go compare other than why would i get a really good quote and then find out i shouldnt have got to the payment stage at all”

“It did not make me happy the company's I looked at on Thier were brokers and wanted this credit monthly payment scheme which was a rip-off and added an extra £190 to my insurance I ended up using the AA”

“I was rather annoyed to say the least, I requested several options and was given a price of £260, I accepted and clicked on the said web site and it turned out all the options that had been accepted and priced for were not included, we ended up have to pay £304 rather misleading to say the least”

“All went well until I got to the payment section, that's when they tell you, by making the payment you agree to automatic renewal payments. Why wait to tell you this. Well we all know why that is don't we. Also the free food card is automatically renewed as well, at a cost of probably £50”

“I thought I was getting insurance for 136pounds, only to get to final quote to discover its really 176pounds some hidden charges .credit cost?? so no not really happy a waste of time. I have to start again.”

“Went for the lowest quote only to find when I went on their site the price nearly doubled. I complained and they are looking into it. In the end because of being pushed for time I went for the next best and rang them, they were fine no problem. I wouldn’t recommend GoCompare because I wasn’t entirely happy with what happened, I nearly went to a competitor.”
