I had taken a video and sent it to customer services requesting a refund as the timestamped video showed no evidence of any damage.

Issues included: • Two overlapping insurance products charged at the same time • Additional driver fee charged even though no second driver licence was ever checked or registered • Cross-border cover charged despite me clearly stating I would not be leaving the country • A long list of extras added at pickup, resulting in hundreds of euros in unexpected costs When I contacted customer service, the response was the usual copy-paste: “You signed the contract, therefore no refund.

The company buried in small print the need to have an international driving permit for a rental in Italy with an UK drivers license. Refused to rent the car, refused to give a refund or credit. Basically stole the money. Customer disservice seems more appropriate name for the way they dealt with this.

Gold car stitched us up ! We ordered and paid for an automatic and got a manual . We asked for a refund as an automatic is much more expensive but they refused and said no we had a automatic when clearly we didn’t and we gave then the reg which they can see is not an automatic but they still refused to refund us the difference! Very bad customer service! Watch out that you don’t get stitched up like we did !!!

Worst company ever. Car was over 100k miles on the clock. Had a mechanical problem and couldn’t get a different car nor a cancellation of contract. Refund of deposit still not received. Was overcharged on my deposit.

In the spirit of mutual cooperation and in light of the agreed rental price, I fully tried to get a refund of the amount charged.

Was charged extra insurance. Also charged a deposit. Was under the impression from the staff than only 52 euros was an extra insurance which I was ok with, but they ended up charging me about 140 euros. Scam. Still haven't even received my fuel deposit refund nearly two weeks later, so all in all, I have been charged £300 plus my original payment of £100. Disgusting company.

When I received my deposit refund they deducted a further £180 for excess mileage.

I was told all that was left to deal with was a deposit for fuel that would be fully refunded once the car was returned with a full tank.
