“Superior experience, highly recommend! Outstanding customer service from start to finish, incredible product with regard to taste, price, and fulfilling needs on the trail. Ordered week of Christmas, service rep put a rush on the delivery and followed up with a phone call to ensure we recieved in time for our trek. Good To-Go over delivered in every aspect of how a transaction should occur! Look forward to using again & will recommend to everyone who appreciates true customer service & quality product.”
“I have tried so many freeze dried foods for camping, Overlanding, and while working as an Intensivist during the pandemic.
I have been very impressed with the taste, consistency, lack of high sodium content, and nutritional value.
This is the BEST freeze dried food available!”
“Great tasting meals, gluten free options! After enjoying them on our John Muir Trail hike, I bought a bunch of them for my PCT through-hike as well! I like that there's an option for single serving. And that the customer service told me which ones are OK for cold soaking. Yay!”
“This was my 7th year in a row long distance backpacking, so I am always on the lookout for new foods to carry. Besides the weight of the food, it must taste good and have valuable calories. Also look for nutrient based foods & fiber. Found Good To-Go foods a couple years ago and am so happy I did!! Good To-Go checks ALL the boxes for me. Have some favorites that I never get tired of, and go well with other foods being mixed in, like the Kale & White Bean STEW, add some Italian meatballs, BAM!”
“I've tried a number of meals for backpacking and Good To-Go is my favorite. The healthy ingredients combined with a great taste make for a great dining experience in the backwoods.”
“What's easy to prepare, tastes great and makes backpacking mealtimes a joy? I'll tell ya, it's any of the meals made by Good To Go. Seriously do yourself a favor and ditch the freeze dried stuff for something you'll truly look forward to eating.”
“I'm saving my meals for later use but I did try the Bibimbap and Kale and White Bean Stew. Both were exceptionally good. I had read in other reviews that the Bibimabap was not that spicy. I'm not a fan of spicy foods. I thought the spice meter was pretty spot on. If it was any spicier I would not have enjoyed it. Great job on the products!”
“Good to Go is a cut above the typical freeze dried backpacking food brand. I’ve always felt their meals were tastier, healthier, and more creative than other brands. I’m impressed by their customer service too. I had a question with my latest order and they responded promptly, courteously, and with all the info I needed. They also followed up to make sure I was well taken care of. I appreciated that. I will definitely be back for more good meals, and I just purchased a variety pack for my backpacking daughter and her husband for Christmas. I know they’ll be excited about this gift.”
“I like most entrées. Marinara is my favorite! The corn chowder was awful. I’d recommend removing it. Some entrées are too spicy. Better to ride a packet of hot pepper flakes so consumer can decide how hot to make it.”
“I have tried the White Bean and Kale Stew and the Mushroom Risotto so far, both are delicious!! I have a review up on YT if you want a more in depth look at it. Bought several different flavors and looking forward to reviewing them all! -Prepping With Sarge”
“Tasty original meals. Generally low salt & sugar. No meat. Reasonable prices. Quick deliveries.
Only complaint is some ingredients don't rehydrate well and make the meal crunchy, but waiting a little longer to rehydrate helps.”
