Hi Thomas - you didn't use the platform to be booked and paid for the job and went directly to the client to be paid cash. If you don't use grafter, we can't help you if you don't get paid properly. The only conversation we had with you, we warned you about going direct and not using the system and you said "Not a clue what you're on about to be honest mate".

“The platform is great for small or long term work and so far the grafter used are great. Also grafters are insured so a peace of mind. Payment fair at 10% but there is 20% VAT added on not made clear. Other than that its a great platform. Also once offer made and booked you still have more grafters applying - which is good just incase the person blows out you could contact the others and get them in. But you still get texted message after you booked your grafter and you are expected to respond to these grafters? Sorry someone already booked. May be this should be automated and not receive texts to respond just if the grafter blows out - you just go to dash board and see he updated list. Once grafter booked - that should be the end of notifying the client me - but it does not stop! You keep on getting these annoying text - Personally too busy to answer back. Anyone that applies after grafter booked should have automated that they are on waiting list in clients dashboard if grafter booked fails to turn up - so they know client has booked grafter.”

“Everything was smooth and clear. This was my first ob, the employer was sound as they come and gave me an opportunity. Grafternow is doing a great job with this platform, its straight forward and easy to use. Payment came pretty much straight away once the employer had done the payment.”

“I've just completed my first task with Grafter and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. It was easy to converse with the client through the meassaging service, so both of us knew where and when to meet, what I needed to bring and what was expected from both parties. The job itself went well (I was very lucky with my first client!). Payment was in my bank account and a review had been left by the time a arrived back home! The internal site messaging service is also good, with Tom answering my enquiry quickly and efficiently. So, based on my first job, it's 9.5/10 from me!”

“We received a lot of interest which is good. The paying bit is a bit inflexible. It sets a day as 7 hours, which cant be changed. When you come to pay it seems to accept whole days OR hours not both so you cant seem to pay overtime/undertime. You cant pay part way through the final day (until the 7 hours are up) in anticipation so that the worker gets paid before they leave on Friday.”

“Overall experience was good, I found website not easy to navigate, and I really think Labourers should register before they can apply for jobs. They should only be allowed to communicate with you after they have accepted a job. I found this a little confusing, as I was talking to many people, who were giving me phone numbers trying to avoid working via Grafter. this needs addressing, as its very easy to just join again after being banned, by changing your name slightly (which happened to me) Overall good experience though, I was happy with my eventual choice of labourer although I wanted two, but one was enough in the end so it didn't matter. I would use this site again if and when required.”
