“My grandson enjoys Gullivers World but but lots of rides are often closed. I really do wish they would look at getting silent or low noise fireworks for their display later this month (and any other time). I am a local resident and my dog and many neighbours pets are petrified of fireworks and has to go on medication to help calm her down. At £100 for the month supply because the meds have to build up in her system, it is not a cheap remedy and we've tried everything. There's a lot of local wildlife as the area boasts woods and canals and I know the Matlock site is also in a lovely nature setting. RSPCA and RSPB have reported how fireworks negatively impact wildlife. My grandson along with many young children are scared of the loud bangs too. I just don't understand why big companies in particular aren't more ethical when making these decisions.”
