“My experience was very stressful & it made me very anxious !! I was given Lisa Stanton as my solicitor, but I was never able to get hold of her, then was told after 2 weeks of being fobbed off & given the wrong information by whoever I was speaking to when I called, that Lisa was now off long term, the adviser(Mary)you sent to my home was telling me the wrong information when I contacted her for help she then said she would get someone from GWLegal to call me, when they did call the next day they told me that the advisor(Mary) wouldn't know the information it's a solicitor that I needed to talk to, however your advisor(Mary)introduced herself as a solicitor, so the person on the phone I felt was implying that I should know what to do ! I explained I'm a hairstylist & have no knowledge of any of this. I'm not sure if Lisa & her team were knowledgeable on all this I felt they were out of their depth, which was worrying to me. Then I was given Emma Gilhooley who was amazing & knew exactly what she was doing & guided me on the right path with the right information & what I needed to do which was so much easier & simple than anyone in your company had advised before. if I dealt with Emma from the beginning I would of given you a 5 star. Everyone else I've dealt with have been absolutely incompetent & caused me much stress & anxiety that I did not need to have. So that's why I've given you a 1 star rating.”

“excellent,professional service from start to completion of my equity release plan. Alexander Burns,our case manager was excellent and dealt with issues that arose during the process in a speedy and efficient way,regularly updating us on progress being acheived. Alex liased regularly with Age Partnership and Canada Life(the lender) and again updated us on a regular basis. Timewise,a successful completion was in line with our expectations and overall an extremely professional and excellent service provided throughout.”

“Good service, though I sometimes felt that nothing happened until they were pushed. There was one small problem to overcome regarding a new law which they seemed to think was my job to sort out, despite me paying them for their legal knowledge!”
