“I wrote and asked for the original documents of GPs letter stating my husband’s inability to act for himself and the original copy of the lasting power of attorney to be returned as I was unable to alter utilities without these documents. I was advised your process was to retain them until the case was finished. I think you could have taken copies. When the case was finished I again asked for the return of these important documents but to date have had no response. I understand the solicitor had her annual leave and then hospital treatment but surely someone could review her emails. Still waiting or I have to pay for these documents yet again.”

“A long and confusing experience. Too many people involved and too long delays on sorting out problems instead of flagging them in the early days. Confusion over legal bill and survey. We were told we could pay this independently.Never got an invoice and money taken from our borrowed amount.”

“Everything was efficient but felt very impersonal. Even on completion there was no we are pleased to inform you etc Yoirvvomperion documents are attached it was a two page letter nothing else,should there have been more? I was dealing with AI,.it felt like all time.”

“All went smoothly until the company solicitor failed to recognise my degree absolute.. insisting it was the nisi. I had several stressful weeks trying to get a copy of the absolute including having to ask my ex husband after ten years of no contact my last straw until embarrassingly he was the one who explained that I had the absolute. I then had to explain to yourselves word by word for you to agree. I found this a very stressful period.”

“Telephone: very patchy, when leaving please contact not always happened. Charges: 2 items for £99.00 seems expensive:- Shortfalls and Redemption. Overall experience was very stressful, would appreciate a conversation, please.”

“I was given no choice but to use GW Legal and I have to say that I would not have chosen them had I been given the choice, Furthermore, I would never choose them again in future. There were several factors that led to my comments above, none of which I can be bothered to go into now. Suffice to say, had it not been for my input and that of the admin assistant of my Financial Advisor, I would likely still be waiting for completion now.”
