“Radios were in working condition . Would give 5 stars but my only issue was the lack of actually cleaning them . Dirt and mud in areas of the buttons and behind knobs also in microphone port.”

“Overall, we were satisfied with our order. However, we didn’t realize at the time of purchase that we would be paying for several add-ons (back battery cover, antenna, and batteries that were not brand new). Additionally, while most of the radios were in very good condition, one was not in "good" condition as expected. That said, shipping was quick, which we appreciated.”

“I received the refurbished radios and they are all working except the radios that we received are VHF and we need UHF. Upon explaining it to the site, I was immediately given a return mailing address and requested to send one of our radios so that they can programmed the replacements.”

“Ordered a Motorola SL300; easy to order and add parts and stay within a budget value. In my case I did not order programming as a ham radio operator I do my own programming. Lots of shipping choice and value. Here in Ontario Fast! Shipping.”

“Received the Motorola SL300 from Haloid very quickly. The radio was in better shape than I expected and all the accessories looked brand new. Overall I'm really happy with this radio. I plan to buy another one before they stop carrying these!”

“Hard to do much of a review so soon. The radios were shipped out and recieved in a timely manner. And they turned on and had the click when turned off. Knob on one seemed a bit loose, but nothing to really complain about. Just waiting on my dept guy to get them programmed to put them to the real test. Bought 2 of the refurb Motorola 6550 and had the vol swit=ch replaced so I knew it was on or off.”

“Radio I ordered wasn't in-stock, they offered to send the rf deck, the head was not in stock. I did asearch of their stock and found a replacement. They gave $25 off”

“Fast shipping. Two SL300 units varied in overall condition a bit, but vey acceptable at the price. Cosmetically, they were cleaned up nicely. Accessories and .3rd party batteries worked well. The master transmit oscillator was off 500 Hz in one, needing an adjustment with the Motorola Tuner software for DMR operation with a hotspot. Overall, very pleased. I recommended to others who had a similar positive buying experience. Oh, units would not take a firmware upgrade due to being locked to a n expired service contract at a radio shop. The Motorola CPS could not recover the radios to allow a firmware upgrade. A minor inconvenience. Both radios worked with CPS 2.0. Only one worked with both 2.0 and 16.0 Build 828. This was probably because of different firmware on the two radios. I was able to add custom audio prompts to both radios easily.”
