“Whilst on a mission to purchase a particular Single Malt Whisky from a shop in central Birmingham, a jeweller in the Jewellery Quarter asked us if we'd been to the Hard To Find Whisky Shop. We'd never heard of it so decided to go and take a look. Wow, what a place! Not only did we find the whisky we were looking for, but my husband (a great malt whisky fan!) was asked if he'd like to sample one they were promoting - so to him that was a bonus! This is an absolutely fantastic place - a real gem in the Jewellery Quarter (excuse the pun) - and we would highly recommend whisky lovers to go there. The selection is out of this world and the shop itself is so classy it beats any other whisky store we've been into. We were so impressed with what we saw that I decided to buy my husband a gift voucher for Christmas which he can either put towards a whisky of his choice, or put towards one of the many "Whisky Masterclass" sessions on offer. All in all, we can't fault the place and therefore have no negative comments to make. Carol, Solihull”

“Package was stuck in Customs. Trying to figure that out was a nightmare. Finally got package and bottles were packaged nicely but still got a $60 Fedex bill for Customs paperwork even though HTFW charged me for all those fees. Very frustrated. Great products but the process and the hassle is very frustrating. Don't see why HTFW includes all the shipping and fees when they charged me but yet I am still getting billed...makes no sense. Buyer beware. Not an easy process even though they have great products. Wish it was easier so we could by more, but now I am hesitant.”

“It is the second time I order and the service itself was impeccable. Delivery times were great, purchase was processed immediately and e-mails with questions were answered within 24 hours. The items purchased have been accessories and bottles. Both turned up in the exact quality and features detailed in the web, so no ugly surprises. All in all, I will definitely keep ordering through this web my whiskey-related "needs" and I will recommend it to friends who love whiskey or need a nice gift for a special occasion.”

“It was pretty easy to order the gift voucher I wanted online, and it arrived in time for my friend's birthday. But....there was no option to add a personal message, so I had to alert them beforehand to watch out for the voucher. Not the complete surprise I had hoped to give!”
