“HEB has a lot going for it. I am disappointed in their produce. It doesn't look fresh and doesn't taste good either. I find their HEB branded times hit or miss. Some are as good or better than the national brands, but many others are not very good. We've bought several of their coffee and ground it in the store. None of it tasted very good and it tasted like the previous customer’s selection. All four of the coffees we purchased tasted oily and burnt. Ive read many reviews regarding the quality of HEB ice cream. We tried it and we will pass. Quality ice cream does not contain "fructose or dextrose like the HEB 1905 flavor does.”
“HEB at Wolflakes in Georgetown, TX.
I'm fed up with the produce. On many occasions I have had groceries delivered with really bad veggies and fruits. I can't blame the people shopping for it because on the surface it looks fine. Once I open the bags of cucumbers, organes or packs of berries; they're really soft, rotting or just rotten. This particular location is horrible. I'm from Texas and grew up shopping at HEB. I don’t know what happened to them but, they definitely are not what they used to be. I've decided to stop buying their produce. The one time I actually complained I was treated like I was a nuisance. Honestly, I don't have time to shop at 2 different stores on the days I shop. Perhaps I will start shopping somewhere other than HEB. Its frustrating and just simply not worth it anymore.”
“HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with the lady in self checkout... I come to the store once or maybe twice every 2 days before this happened just now @ 6:52 pm..I only had 8 ITEMS one of which was a 24pack of coke, even though she was watching me extremely closely since i started scanning despite other ppl being there she stops me & my husband and asked us if she could see our receipt, after REVIEWING THE CLEAR TO SEE RECEIPT OF 8 ITEMS she looks at me and ask me if i paid for the coke separately & i said "no" so she proceeds to say, "You can't pay coke with Lone star" and my husband says you're allowed to pay with more than method of paying" and she checks the receipt AGAIN (she had to SQUINT HER EYES)and finally sees the coke on the receipt. She didn't apologize or empathized, she simply smiled & said thank you for that embarrassing and humiliating moment that was due to her POOR EYESIGHT. For me that was the worst part!”
“Actually HEB Isa pretty good store. Their website sucks. Type in a specific location in a search engine and it automatically takes you to their Victoria store, despite what ever location you put in, and navigating from the Victoria location is tone consuming and difficult to accomplish!”
“HEB Flour Bluff at 1145 Waldron Rd 78418 pharmacy is not very nice or helps. My insurances covers delivery and still get chargers $7.95 & I do not have a car. I get the run arounds from pharmacy and have to call HEB help tech and they only can do so much and says HEB pharmacy has to help. I call back and they told me they were going by one insurance and not both my insurances to have all covered. So pharmacists said they need to so that but they are not taking care of that and I'm still being charged delivery fee. I put 3 complaints about this complications. Also they take forever answering phone calls. This HEB pharmacy is very frustrating! I'm due few medications needed!”
“This is about one specific product that has become a recent issue but may be indicative of an overall problem with quality control with businesses providing products that are HEB branded. HEB cole slaw was a decent product until a price increase a couple of months ago. I buy this product weekly and noticed that there are slices of the stem or stalk in the cole slaw. It is quite bitter and should not be in the bag. I brought this to the attention of the produce department who said they would contact the "buyer". Subsequent packages have had the same issue although I know it takes some time to resolve but it never should have happened.”
“The H‑E‑B in Cuero must have new management or something. The shelves are not stocked well and products are so far back on the shelves that short women can’t reach them. The meat counter has never recovered since the freeze that we had months ago.”
“Heb partners were rude and disrespectful and acted like my money wasn’t worth it. Even the service director clearly didn’t care how I felt as a person. There’s only one service partner there that made me feel welcome. Tsigie made me return week after week and unfortunately she wasn’t there today so experience was unsatisfactory and disappointing and Andrea whomever she is wasn’t nice or attentive beside asking if I wanted stamps or ice other than that she had nothing else to say besides looks to her bagger. I hope my next experience is better.”
“Before COVID I was paying $1.00 for a loaf of HEB brand 100% whole wheat bread. Today I paid $2.24 for the same item. That’s over 100% price increase. If you wish to make me happy, get your prices in order. COVID is over.”
“Stacey, the manager of the floral shop at HEB Tuckerton in Cypress Texas is an outstanding employee. As a minister I have had a number of complicated time sensitive orders and she has always had them on time and perfect. If you have an employee recognition program I recommend Stacey without reservations.”
“(Pharmacist) at the San Pedro/Oblate Pharmacy is a total wreak. She needs to reevaluate her Work and/or work environment. Her negative attitude plays havoc on her employees and customers. She needs a attitude adjustment and time out like a child. Stay away from this location while the rogue pharmacist is still there. PR nightmare”
“HEB is a company that’s is one of the best grocery stores in the world. They have curb side pickup for anyone of age and the prices are economical with always more extras. Their health, international, meat, veggies, are always so fresh and besides they keep up with new products and bring them to the consumer before we even know about it. WCH”
