“Purchased a ProJect A/D box and it did not work as advertised (in stereo), after many calls/emails, and time spent trying different setting I was advised by HiFiX to return the item , which I did , I never heard any more for 10 days and then out of the blue received a refund , without any Communication , I suspect that these items are inherently defective and as such they are selling items not fit for purpose.i find this un_acceptable and have requested further information from them in order to establish if it is "my" item defective or all items, no attempt has been made to find a satisfactory resolution , as such I intend to pursue this matter further, selling goods that have to be returned and refunds given, without any explanation is very suspect indeed , watch this lot ....not helpful, when problems”
“Was hesitant to order from Hifix after some mixed review but was blown away by their immaculate service! Spoken to Tomas (without a H - easily distinguishable) and said the Cyrus One Cast would be perfect for what i was looking for in a streaming set up.
I wanted to demo this, they let me borrow the item with a deposit before purchasing. The item arrived next day, i was happy after the first day of using it so decided to purchase the item.

“Hifix are fantastic for purchasing Hi Fi, AV, and Home Cinema Products. With a large range of Hi fi Speakers to choose from i had a hard time choosing so i rang them. With everything going on i expected a long wait time but eventually i got through and they recommended me a pair of Dali Spektor 2 Speakers and a Rega Planar 1 plus. Great combo, efficient service.

Eventually resolved with me paying £ 15 to return useless expensive record player which is non refundable. Go elsewhere...”
“I chose hifix.co.uk from a link on the Denon website because it stated the item I wanted was in stock. Over 24 hours after placing the order and the money taken from my account I was informed that they didn’t actually have the unit in stock and were waiting for information from Denon.
I have had to chase them several times to be told I should receive the unit 7 days after initially expecting it. Especially when I paid the extra for 24hour delivery.”
“I purchased a CD / speaker system from HiFix and it was delivered in the time promised. One of the speakers was damaged so I mailed HiFix to which they replied and then phoned them to confirm what route to take. The salesman, Matthew, was efficient, polite, spoke clearly, and apart from organising for the faulty product to be collected by Parcelforce the following day, also organised for the replacement speakers to be delivered at the same time ! Less than 24 hours after we spoke!
