“Wanted to get something for my son's 50th birthday as a keepsake to put in with his main present away from the usual tacky gifts on offer on the web site and came across 'Historic Newspapers'. Ordered a Scotsman dated on his birthday and absolutely delighted with it. It seemed expensive but it is beautifully presented in a blue box and looks really special. I know that he will treasure it. PS My other son is 50 in three years and will definitley consider getting one for him too.”

“Great disappointment. I ordered a birthday book as a gift for my brother’s 60th birthday celebration in Las Vegas. It took nearly a month for the delivery and what I received was the wrong book. It had someone else’s name and birthdate embossed on the cover. I am now scurrying to find a gift at the last minute. While I was issued a refund, I am totally disappointed with this experience with Historic Newspapers. I would not recommend them to anyone else.”

“The service was very good. There was a little hiccup with the item stuck in UK Customs but it did arrive before our event. Communication was very good and I appreciated the use of FedEx to deliver the item. I did find the pages a bit difficult to read. I totally understand the pages had to be shrunk to fit the book but some were difficult to read. But I sort of expected that from the age of the original papers. Overall, we were very happy with the purchase.”
